Over on the Multiplayer forum we often discuss the various battle cries our characters randomly yell out, as well as enemies' combat barks. A bit ago we discussed some of the battle cries our squadmates in single-player yell out randomly (honestly it started out as someone's examples for why they didn't like Jacob, but hey).

 

So I figured I'd throw this out here. What are your favourite battle cries? Bonus question: What's your badass yell?

 

My funniest is when when Grunt tries to go "I AM KROGAN!!!" but he glitches out and goes "I AM worthless".

 

Miranda wins hands-down for unintentionally dirty.

 

When I kill a cloaked enemy, I tend to go "Not invisible enough, jerk."

My first few playthroughs were as an engineer, so I didn't shoot a lot. Especially not with sniper rifles. I didn't learn how to do that effectively until I did multiplayer. But since I did, I decided to do an infiltrator playthrough.

 

I play through the first game, then import the character to ME2. First mission, Miranda, Jacob and my Shepard go to Freedom's whatever. First real mission, first mission with Miranda, my first shot with a sniper rifle, I get a headshot, and Miranda goes "Good job!"

 

And I go "Why the hell do you sound so surprised, you condescending b****???"

I don't know if this would rate as a battle cry, but when you have edi on the Turian Platoon mission it will say "Full arsenal at the ready" when fighting the repaer forces before talking with LT. Victus

Hehe. I've never chosen Morinth over Samara so I've never heard that one.

 

I figure anyone working with Shepard has diplomatic immunity.

Harbinger has some of the funnier ones, especially if you take them out of context.

“This hurts you.”

Harbinger has some of the funnier ones, especially if you take them out of context.

 

I suggested during a multiplayer session that it'd be funny to hear Harbinger going through daily life. That ended up with a bunch of Harbinger-voice going "I'd like to order a taco" and "Do you have this shirt in GREEN," etc.

I always liked Kasumi's "gift for you!" when using her grenades.

 

It's also amusing when, after clearing a wave of Cerberus during a MP match, about one second *after* the last trooper dies you hear... someone?... yell, "Taking casualties!"

Jack's "Fly, b*tch!", and "Watch the landing!" when she pulls enemies.

Garrus' "Scoped and dropped!" is a fave of mine.

I always liked the "bag 'em and tag 'em" line from Garrus in ME1, and his enthusiastic comments in ME2. He also seemed to respond to my Shepard's kills, unless that was just coincidence. But I enjoyed the praise. 

 

Grunt's battle cry "I AM KROGAN!" is awesome too. 

 

And an honorable mention to "enemies everywhere" from ME1 Shepard, which is hilariously appropriate for my paranoid Shepard.
