Bioware most spoilerous contributions...SPOILERS

Right now I'm really mad with you and your decisions to advertise the game through so many spoilers. Latest videos reveal so many twists its just disturbing! Thane saying "I'm dying", staff saying that depending on loyalties and "approval" of your team the ending will vary, that Shep can die at the end - to name the few...what the f*ck are you thinking?
Is this kind of aggressive bombardement with game info really necessary? You spray the details in such quantity that I'm worried is there anything worth knowing left?
At least give us poor suckers a chance - place SPOILERS in the media you release! Some of the scenes montage is upseting as well, I'm not a moron not to think and predict certain outcomes of what you show. Its cinematic expirience, and you show parts of them; if you know how filmmaking works and you know the ploys used then you can predict what will happen or what is being shown (not seeing the whole picture).
Gods I hope I'm wrong...nevertheless the advertisement and marketing is going downhill...
Just my opinion mind you.
Thanks.

Secondly, all of our marketing could be considered to have spoilers in it. We cannot custom-tailor our marketing to satisfy each individual's spoiler tolerances. Some folks don't want story spoilers, some don't want character spoilers, some don't want gameplay spoilers, some don't want ANY information, and some don't know what they don't want until it happens.
If you know of some way we can hype the game and attract a huge audience like we've done with ME2, and still satisfy everyone's spoiler tolerance, you've got a million-dollar idea there.

just because he was looking at video's doesn't mean he wasn't trying to avoid spoilers.
though his post goes a bit too far...to blame him for watching any video's is assinine

I have this eery paranoia that the entire game has been spoiled and i don't even know it yet. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sad.png[/smilie]
Trust
me you haven't - I'm even more spoiler paranoid then just about any
fan. Marketing hates me because most of the demo content you see has
to be vetted by me first. There is at least fully 70% of the game I've
not let anyone show yet. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wizard.png[/smilie]

Doesn't matter what he was or wasn't looking forward to seeing when he watched a video. When you watch trailers or interviews about a game, you should know that risks come with it and there is a chance that a spoiler will be in that video.
If you want to be 100% spoiler free, then just wait till the game actually comes out, and then go and RENT it if you have any doubts about gameplay or whatever. Easy as that.

you guys shouldnt have told us shepard could die... i mean it would be a jaw dropper if we found out on our own.
Would it also have been a jaw dropper, after dedicating 40 or so hours of gameplay, that if your Shepard did die, that particular save file would be useless for ME3?
I see that bit of information they let loose, more of a warning than a spoiler. Makes sure you know the consequences of not doing everything you can to ensure at least Shepard's survival, so that you don't end up with a glorified "GAME OVER" ending.

I think without even revealing that, most people would of probably got that vibe anyways.
After I watched the newest trailer my hope got renewed about how much epicness is left in the game we haven't seen and how many playthroughs it'd take to see a majority of it.

I'm not sure what your question is. If you die, it's because you blew through the game. Surviving is based on gaining loyalty and upgrading your ship/equipment.

That's why Bioware let that information out, so people wouldn't simply blow through the game.
