I don't get it. Why do the Red Templars have a cross?

Because that's what we saw in the trailer?

Pretty much. Everything I vectorized can be found on the Dragon Age Wiki and in the game files, or in trailers and concept art. You'd have to ask the devs about why a cross.

I know. I was wondering why the developers would use it.

Maybe we'll find out in Inquisition. :) I hope so - it's something I've been curious about too.

Hm, if I were to make a propoganda poster...

I think I'd aim to subvert American cultural tendencies.

Imagine, if you will, a mage looking at the viewer, reaching out and grabbing a hand (the viewers'). The top of the poster says 'They say the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with blood."

Then, as you look down, you realize the mage is gripping the hand in a grip to not let go, and is holding a knife with a blood drip above the captive palm.

The bottom would say "Their liberty. Your blood."

Another would be a silouhette of Kirkwall, and the explosion of the the Chantry. Figures below would look in fear as debris rains down on them. In the background, Anders (with justice-lines of glowing) is a mage sillouhette.

"Those who would sacrifice the security of others for their own freedom deserve neither. Remember Kirkwall."

Beauuuuuutiful!

Wow. Just wow. I too love propaganda posters and these are amazing.

Also, I really like the stickers.

Now, are there any plans for more propaganda posters? For, let's say, the Qunari? Or even the darkspawn, just for fun?

Thank you! I'm quite fond of the stylization of old propaganda art, especially those that lean more towards Art Deco.

Not at present, no. If good ideas for others come to me, I'll do them. I tend to draw more fan art the closer we get to a game release, so it's possible, though I can't guarantee it. If I do, I'll post them here.

Suggestions for specific ideas (as in, not just the groups, but taglines, etc) are welcome, but ultimately it comes down to if I have the time and if my muse decides to cooperate. It can be quite fickle.

Make one with the Inquisitor pointing his finger at us with the subtitle 'I want you for the Inquisition Army'

Heh, a classic. I'd rather emulate the style and mood of Art Deco propaganda posters though, than do a parody of a specific, iconic one.

Why not one with the Arishok holding the Viscount's severed head with the words: "You are blind. The Qun will make you see!" or something?

or hey, if we're staying focused on Inquisition: one of Cassandra, with the Inquisition's flag in her hand, and the words: "Only the righteous stand before the darkness."

EDIT: Also, this picture could maybe serve as inspiration for a Meredith-themed one. Possibly with the words: "Stand before the corrupt and the wicked and do not falter."?

Wow, that's a nice Meredith picture! Don't think I've seen it before.

But yeah, for clarification, if I do any more posters, it'd be related to Inquisitioin, like the civil war or elven rebellion in Orlais.

Art Deco posters....like bioshock style? Because if so you have just discover a tool capable of making a 20yr old Squeel like a small child.

Kind of along that line, yeah! They do use a lot of Art Deco architecture in Bioshock, and there's some of the painting/poster Art Deco style in the game. I mostly refer to the variance of it that's focused on highly stylized (often fairly simple) forms/shapes and certain types of fonts. Kind of like these;
