I'm not Anti-Anders by any stretch, I just feel like his story is done.
I didn't mean you lol, sorry if you thought I did ![]()
Yeah, I understand, I'd purely want him in Inquisition because he's fine. I'm not gonna even try to play you lol.

If that's your take on it, let's make way for the new cute guys. ![]()

I know but.. but....
"Justice does not approve of my obsession with you."
Like honestly, if you can creep me out and be sweet at the same time, I'm sold.
But I digress, bring on the new hunks of DA:I ![]()
Maker, it feels good to finally be allowed to click on these topics. Still basking in that glory at the moment.
Anders is confirmed dead, huh? Forgive me, I just caught up on this series less than an hour ago, basically. Where was this stated?
It's here:

The answer is...If you killed Anders in DA2, he stays dead.

They didn't however clarify where that leaves Justice. He could easily be controlling the corpse now.

Well then I can hope for a Darth Anders in my game. Whee!
@eluvianix: I can still hope for a Darth Vengeance! Whee!
I think Anders should have a time limit. Justice was taking over pretty aggressively in 2, it doesn't seem like he will be Anders much longer.
Will he kill himself before he stops being Anders and becomes Justice?
I suppose I wouldn't mind seeing Darth Anders. I let him go in most runs just to spite Sebastian.
Anders to Anakin is a horrible comparison. Sorry. Anakin was dealing with fear of loss and manipulation by palpatine and went crazy. Anders just went crazy.
I actually prefer Vader to Anakin. Anakin was a winey emotional little twit....I guess that is a similarity to Anders.
If Anders somehow is alive, that will be fine with me I just get to kill his terrorist psycho self again.
Though I am guessing if I see Anders in MY DAI it will be because Justice has animated his corpse.
From an actual storyline perspective though I hope we don't see Anders again. He served his purpose. As far as old characters I would much rather see Sten or Nathaniel, both of which I believe are unlikely but still.
Like Theon in game thrones would say now
Wat is death sould stay death
I spared him so i hope he will blow up at least 1 more chantry and when he will fulfill his role i will cut his head and set things on my rules no someone else...

You spared a mage? The madness of this...place.
Well he will show peoples why mages need to be killed and it will make easier for me to kill them all also he will weaken the chantry and when chantry will be burning then my inquisitor will show up as savior and i will gain control mahaha!
I suppose he will make a cameo if alive. Afterall he and Varric are the only companions related to Inquisition and the two most important characters in DA2. Varric is companion which covers his importance but Anders is not, mainly because I think he has been one for two games. The best scenario is Anders will get the biggest cameo like Miranda's cameo in ME3. Don't hope for any more of that.

I'm not even banking on a cameo, only mentions of him in the game. Maybe a codex, but that's as far as my expectations extend to. If they decide to give him a cameo (only for the players that let him live; no Zevran bug please,) I'll be surprised. However, I don't want to see him again. I'm not sure if the "Anders" we would end up meeting was really him, or if it's Justice that consumed what was left of Anders' personality and mind. Plus, David hinted that the Taint could affect Justice, and it's a story idea that they might explore again later. Justice, gone mad with Vengeance, could be affected by the Taint on top of everything else.
Sadly, I'd have to pass.
I think Anders should have a cameo.....as a rotten corpse.

Well, for those that killed him, you could have him as a boss fight. He'd be an Arcane Horror at that point, and I'd imagine a pretty powerful one at that.
Not my gig, but I usually didn't kill him either. I do think that the idea I mentioned would allow the players that killed him some satisfaction. Still, I wouldn't bet on any physical appearance of him whatsoever, even his rotting body.
i have a feeling that Justice will make a cameo but anders not so sure. I dont know what the torn viel will afffect him.
I killed him once, I can kill him again, except this time I want to chop off his head instead of stabbing him in the back.
My personal thoughts is Anders should be a side quest that is linked to the Free March part of the game.
If Anders is dead once you've established your Free March Inquisition base there will be a siege event where believing you aren't doing enough for mages either an Arcane Horror or Pure Manifestation Vengence attacks your keep with a small army of other Fade Spirits he's called forth and corrupted to his point of view.
If Anders is alive he is found in a remote cave in the Free Marches where having continued to degenerate he has become a disheveled hermit who is actually trying to find a way to seperate himself and Justice. The inquisitor then has the choice of helping him with some ritual he thinks will work or bringing Anders in to face justice for his crimes, knowing doing so would likely gain you a few more agents to use in the Free Marches.

I know at least one Free Marsh prince who would be very grateful for you bringing in Anders.
I'm willing to bet Justice either finally took full control of Ander's live body or took control of him once he was dead. Justice possessed Kristof while he was dead and only lost control if he was beheaded or completely slaughtered by the Warden Commander. Ander's only gets knifed once, I doubt that would kill Justice.
