Anyone else doing this?

Just thought about it watching the live demo.  They were using a PC so it got me thinking...

I only have ME on the XBOX, thus the save files to import into ME2.  Yet if the shooter part of it is going to be as good as they say, then I might have to buy it for my PC too, even without an import save file.  Guess I'm of the school of thought that "shooter should be played on PC's"...  It can be done on the 360, but its much more intuitive and responsive using a mouse.

Then there's the framerate issue too.  Without getting into specs, I'm sure my PC will get way more than my 360.

Faster load times too maybe?

I'll prolly just wait to see what its like on the 360 first then make my decision.  Hope this isint a rehash of an old thread...

I thought that one could use one's bioware account to use a savegame on a different platform... That's what I heard, anyways.

I already have both ordered just because I like to have the choice.

As for the 30 FPS, I believe that was only a limit on the 360

I wound up ordering a PC CE from Amazon w/ release date delivery to go with my standard 360 version from GameStop since they screwed up my pre-order.

From the game play footage it really does look like it will control better (and potentially look/run better) on the PC. I probably would have just have gone PC only for ME2 but I got fed up of ME1 for the PC due to the incredibly crappy performance and general bugginess I experienced on my (at the time) extremely beefy gaming PC despite many hours of testing and tweaking.

Here's to hoping BioWare did a better job with the PC version of ME2 than Demiurge's port of the first one.

i used to have the primo computer back in the day... top notch everything... envy of all the dweebs. but then I moved from computer combat to real combat... spent my money on real assault rifles and then bought an xbox. So f the PC... im outta that game. Too much time spent staying upgraded where the time could be used in much better places (like real CQB training)

yeah, nothing like driving around a planet where the ground is completely black and you can't see the lava or w/e and you drive right into it and die...

Yeah lets hope the PC version isint buggy. If they lock it at 30fps on the PC I'll be mad. Guess I'll wait then.

they will not lock the frame rate that low on the PC version. It would just be stupid, plus if it was "witch it's not" It would be easily changeable as every other PC game with a frame rate cap was..
