Definitely want respawning enemies, trying to level up in DA 2 is a pain. Running the streets at night just looking for a fight, finding nothing in sight it ain't right because it's no fun if some of my hommies can't have none.

Trash mobs are a cheap boring way of trying to gain experience. Grinding is about as much fun as watching paint dry. Maybe the idea is not to defeat or attack the high dragon in the first act but to sneak past it, go around it and not disturb it. Bioware is not stopping you nor the party from going to that area.
One complaint with DA2 was the trash mobs. I want quests that include tough varied enemies that deliver enough experience so that the party levels up to handle those difficult areas.
If gamers want a semi-open world where they can go to any area then there may be consequences to that decision. Nowhere does it say that Bioware has to make it easy for the player to level up the party by grinding.
Bioware has already said the enemies do not level with the party nor did Bioware say that every enemy in an area could be defeated in the same act. The party may have to wait until later in the game to take on the dragon or dragons in an area. Instead of having trash mobs for grinding I am all for more non-repeatable quests that deliver experience.
That's funny, I thought the "idea" of an RPG was to play how you want to.
I'd like enemies to respawn, keeps the world lively. Witcher 2 did that, and it was fine(I'm sure Witcher 3 will also have respawning enemies). They have to do it right though.
I'd like to see some uniqueness in the way they spawn, may be different tactics employed and placement? The code that handles the spawn system could carry "sets" of spawn points and enemy varieties. A region need not always have the same type of enemies, depending on how many regions we have explored, we could have a variety of enemies spawn in a location where they would not have spawned if we haven't explored other regions in the game world.
As for boss creatures, I'm on the fence on this one. Maybe boss creatures could start respawning post-game, but very sparsely. As much as I'd to fight dragons post-game, I don't want them spawning too much like Skyrim. In fact, if dragons respawn, I'd like to see them get stronger every time. Just my 2 cents.
