I've been modding DAO and have had success with most of the mods I've tried. Some haven't worked, but I've generally been able to figure out why. So, I'm hoping someone on here had had similar issues and can help me out a bit. I've tried several different head morphs for Alistair, Wynne & Ser Gilmore (at different times/play throughs) with no success on any of them. Their heads always come out clear and they have white hair, and Wynne's face is all smooshed-looking. However, the mods for Leliana and Morrigan seem to be working fine. I've made sure to check the compatibility/incompatibility lists, and am pretty sure I've downloaded the accompanying mods (when necessary). I'm running it using the Nexus mod manager, for some reason DAModManager wasn't allowing me to install a few of the other mods. If anyone has any input on this it'd be much appreciated.

*I did a search in the threads, and could only find queries regarding the creation of head mods, please forgive me if I missed a thread covering this. If so, if a Mod could please delete or merge this thread I'd appreciate it. Also, if I've selected the wrong forum, please move it so I don't junk-up the forum. Thanks!

Sounds like missing resources. White hair occurs with missing textures. I'm guessing by "clear" you actually mean the face mesh is missing. Not really sure what you mean with Wynne's face being smooshed. I gather it looks different to the pictures on the mod page, as opposed to just being a poor job on the part of the author. Pictures would help.

My first guess would be NMM is not installing mods properly. I haven't used it with DA, but my limited experience with it with New Vegas would lead me to suggest it is not very good, and that was a game/engine it was explicitly designed for, as opposed to DA. I usually use DAModder for installing 3rd party mods. I haven't used DAO ModManager, but my understanding is it should work fairly well. I would think if it is refusing to install mods then those mods are not correctly formatted (they may need to be repacked or installed manually). You need to provide some more info on what specific mods you are using and any warnings/errors you got during (attempted) installation.

I'm out of town at the moment, but when I get home, I'll add more specifics. Thanks!
