I have to connect to my uni wifi and log in to get access to the internet, but when I click on the uni wifi, the option to log in is not popping up, I just have the exclamation mark on the wifi bar.
How can I bring up the option to log in?

University networks usually come with a VPN access in addition to just connecting to their network, so that students can use the university's priviliged access to specific websites (for example website libraries).
I'd check with your university's webpage to see if that holds true in your case aswell. If so, they should offer you a download mirror for the VPN software, the profile and you should check your documents for your access data, or check with the network team to set you up.
If none of that is the case for you, then just pop by the university's network team and have them help you.

Some shared ISPs don't let you enter certain websites and forums, and possibly don't let you to download. They're free communal connections after all!
But your problem is one of those annoying ones I don't know. Maybe you need a password.
