I know this has been asked before but I don't recall a dev ever confirming the many conflicting answers. Short of a dev actually answering the question, a link and excerpt to a dev's answer in a pre-existing thread/interview/video would be nice.

It's a two part question.

1) Can an imported Shepard's appearance be reset to default Shep?

2) Can modifications be made to default Shep's appearance? (Hair style, eye color, facial hair, scarring, etc...)

Thanks in advance. Of course, problems like this could be avoided by putting a FAQ sticky at the top of the page...

Yes.

No.  Apparently, the modeling program for the default Shep is different than the modeling for custom Shep so, unfortunately, you can't edit or modify the default Shep.

I think there was a video where they showed exactly that, forgot which one but i think you can even change your gender.

Ha! Reminds me of Saints Row 2. In the first game you could only be male, and so in the second a joke is made by the previous crew of your gang by one simple phrase....

"You look different, did you change your hair?"

from wat i read and understand, u can do a full reboot. changing appearence&class. the old forum and the NG+ thread r still up. but u can't post question...
