If we do indeed get to play as different species in Mass Effect (4), would you like it if we had a lot more alien weapons and armour? In ME 3, we got a lot of new alien weapons which was very exciting for me. I really loved the Acolyte pistol, Arc pistol and Disciple shotgun. It was really refreshing to see alien designs.

I found it very, very odd  that the aliens in the previous games all had human weapons and vehicles. It felt wrong, in a way.

One thing that bugged me a lot was the lack of unique armours that were made. Granted, most species wouldn't be able to fit properly into each other's armour, but humans, asari and batarians all could fit into each other's. I'd really love to see some unique pieces as well as casual outfits that are expressive of the species-in-question's culture.

You've been using alien weapons since ME1.

They might technically have been alien weapons but they didn't particularly look/act very different from human designs, in fact they were all effectively the same with different skins and stats with few effective differences aside from that.

We did get a fairly respectable chunk of Alien weaponry in ME3 that was fun to use. There was still a lot of Human weaponry but that's kinda to be expected. If they continue to play around with the projectile weaponry (GPS, Graal, so on) I think that will be nice. Hitscan weapons are fine but having variety in what you're shooting, even if it's just a slight change, can be a nice change.

In terms of armor... I think they'd do what they did in ME1 with armor being used across races. They'd keep the color scheme and then just use Turian armor parts or Human armor parts, so on and so forth. Having some unique peices would be nice though.

EDIT:

Actually, this thought just came to me, they could make use of the quirky things in the guns more often. Something like when the GPS rounds land on an enemy they're supposed to arc electricity between them. Well, how about if a charged GPC shot hit two enemies instead of just one (2 on one enemy, one on the other) and there was a short overload-like stun between the two of them that would leave them vulnerable for a short time?

I like the idea of the weapons. But for armor as Armali, pointed out it wouldn't fit some races, I do not want to see any race, regardless can equip this armor lol. It just doesn't make much sense. I wouldn't mind seeing some batarian armor on my human or even asari. Or vise versa, given the fact we will probably be able to play as other races.

Yeah, which is why I think they'd do what they did in ME1 where they would take a few main traits aesthetically from a piece of armor and apply them to all the 'base sets' of armor each species has. Of course something like 'Brawler Armor' would only exist for a Batarian, or 'Justicar Armor' would only be for an Asari.
