Check out these archers. Maybe we can have these types of animations for archers in DAI as well? If anything, its a fun watch.

I am fairly sure that most of the complaints for DA2s combat animations were that they were to flashy. so I am gonna go ahead and say no.
As good looking as it seems, no. Might work out on cutscenes, but on actual combat? Your character would be dead before he hits someone, and it would be unfair if enemies were to do that.
I like it. I like the combat style of DA2 more than the one of DA:O and I don't care for an unwritten "fantasy ruleset".
I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of evade+shoot ability that was on the less flashy side of this.
Doing this sort of thing when there's no realy reason to move would just be silly.
Now I'm just imagining Hawke and Sebastian parkouring around the battlefield instead of actually shooting anything.
Ludicrously unnecessary showboating.
I believe the archery animation for Assassinate in DA2 was some unholy union of backflip and bowshot.
I want to play an archer. Not a breakdancer ![]()
I don't like it. At the same time, however, I would like to see the archer get a bit more interesting. I'd love to see the archer be able to break out a melee weapon without having the bow and quiver disappear completely like it does in Origins.

There's a difference between flashy and impractical, and ****** pointless. (da2 had both) This is the latter. What does the inquisitor stop to look for something to backflip off before he takes every shot?
