1.  How did you come up with your forum name? 

Chose the 'Astus' part on a whim when I joined another forum years ago. I believe it's Latin for 'wise' so it was sufficiently pretentious enough for me at the time, haha. Oz is just to indicate the country of origin, that being Australia.

 

2.  Are you new to forums or have you been to some before?  Which?

No, not really new. Have been doing it for years. I used to go by Eski.Moe over at the BSN for a time but that was linked to a different gamertag and so I made this to link with the gamertag that I'm currently using. I had an account on the Jade Empire forums a while before that I made because I encountered a bug where I ended up getting stuck in a room that I wasn't supposed to get stuck (somewhere in the Black Leopard School). I remember the bug, I don't remember the account hah.

I've been fairly active at a couple of other forums too. :]

 

3.  What is your fav RPG?  Your first?

I got into RPGs fairly late. I think JE was my first one. From there I went onto KOTOR and the rest is all murky.

 

4.  What is your fav thing to do?

Read a book/Kindle in the sun. Just laze about on the grass. :]

 

5.  If you were a flavor, what would it be?

Vanilla with choc mint pieces strewn throughout. 

 

6.  Would you ever wear pantaloons?  How do you think you'd look?

Wore them as a kid when I dressed up as Aladdin. I think I looked pretty swanky, ha.

Apathy.

Sure, I'll bite.

 

1. It's simply a word play of my name--Kevin--with an added number '3' in it, b/c it is my favorite number.

2. As of now, quite experienced. But before BSN, I used to merely mingle on Gamespot, which eventually introduced me to the Mass Effect franchise and ultimately made me visit the forums. Now I tend to visit game forums I am generally interested in, but always tend to return here.

3. Probably either The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings or Dragon Age: Origins. First must have been KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords.

4. Other than gaming I would say probably boxing.

5. Dark chocolate.

6. Not my style.

7. I'd like to view myself as a 'down to earth' kind of guy.

2.  Are you new to forums or have you been to some before?  Which? I've been active quite a few years ago on a Dutch Harry Potter-fan forum called 'Dreuzels' (which is Dutch for 'Muggles')

3.  What is your fav RPG?  Your first? Tough one. Favorite would be Skyrim, at this point. First? I guess that would be SW: KOTOR II.

4.  What is your fav thing to do? Gaming, but other than that either writing or just doing random stuff in and around the house. Yeah, I know.

5.  If you were a flavor, what would it be? Nutella. I used to smear it on my bread by the jar. Almost literally.

6.  Would you ever wear pantaloons?  How do you think you'd look? Sure, when it's time for 'carnaval' ('carnival', though here it's a feast of three days in February or March in which every dresses up as something and the streets are packed with partying people playing folk music.)

1. A friend did actually. The game Earthbound has a character called Ness, which is also my surname. Ness got shortened to 'N' as the full thing was always taken. 

2. Pretty much new. I've tried my hand at other forums, but they're never quit as interesting/crazy as BSN.

3. Toss up between the Monster Hunter series and FE: Awakening. The first would be Shining Force.

4. A short time ago I'd have said gaming, but recently I've been doing less and less of that. These days its just wherever my mood takes me.

1. A random name generator while I was creating one of my 5 million World of Warcraft alts. It came up with something vaguely close to Cyonan, and I changed it to be that since I liked it more. Most of my previous user names have been random character references(mainly from the Fire Emblem series).

 

2. I post occasionally on the World of Warcraft and Star Citizen forums. Both using the name Cyonan, and as a Draenei Shaman for the WoW forums.

 

3. Favourite RPG is a toss up between Oblivion and Mass Effect. First one I can recall of the top of my head is Super Mario RPG on the SNES.

 

4. Probably gaming. I'll also go off on random tangents on the internet reading about history, science, or technology.

6. I would look completely ridiculous wearing that, so of course I would wear it as some sort of costume. I've gone outside wearing far more silly stuff than that.

I stole it from Gladius, a heartbreakingly underrated game from the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox era.

I used to moderate a friend's forum aaaages ago. I don't recall what it was for... I also used to post rather rarely on Gamefaqs several years ago on the 999 boards.

Don't have a favorite. My first? Dragon Warrior for the NES. I can still hear the overworld tune in my head.

Gaming and doing crossword puzzles. Keeping the mind sharp and alla that jazz.

1. Rainbows are an LGBT thing (and I like rainbows), I'm bisexual, and I love cats. So, Rainbow Kitty it is.

2. I was a member of and recently left some old forum for Pirates of the Caribbean Online. Had an account for like 3 years but the game is gone, so yeah.

3. Favorite RPG? DA2. No, I'm not being sarcastic. My first? Mass Effect.

1.) The Volus are my favorite race in the ME universe. I wanted to have an "ironic" name for them.

2.) I was a regular at the Tropico 3 and Legacy SC2 forums before I came here. I've been here for just over 3 years (3?!JESUS CHRIST!) and still have not been perma-banned for reasons beyond me. 

3.) I'm afraid I do not really have any record for either. I do not recall which one I played first, and nothing truly sticks out to me as my favorite. ME2 was probably the most influential, though. 

4.) Don't really have a favorite. Generally too preoccupied with necessities. 

5.) Cranberry Pepperspray.

6.) No.

7.) War and Apathy. The strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.

8.) Foreign currency(s), delusional love (You know, the couples that are getting arrested for tearing each others' hair out or having make-up sex), frivolous spending. 

9.) I do quite a bit of both. I post more often than not in groups after the arrival of the botmods.

My imagination is about as useful as a potato. It's my forum name elsewhere and I like it. My previous forum name was the result of staring in frustration at the screen as everything I usually used came up 'taken'. Boo.

I've been using forums for almost as long as I've been using computers, doesn't that make me feel old. There are too many to list but they vary between reptile, bird, fishing, movie, gaming, anime/manga and medical forums. I lurk on many others, but can't be bothered signing up for an account as I've got enough to keep track of as it is.

 

3.  What is your fav RPG?  Your first?

Favourite RPG is a toss up between Dragon Age and Mass Effect, they're both great games with a fair amount of replay value. The first RPG that I recall playing was Runescape.

 

4.  What is your fav thing to do?

I go through phases. Currently my favourite thing to do is photograph my pets.

 

5.  If you were a flavor, what would it be?

Ginger. I don't have red hair either, just saying.

No, I'd look more like a fool than I do now.

Chaos with a side of apathy.

Far too many to list, but drivers who ignore the road rules are one of my top pet peeves. I've been this close to being flattened too many times to count by drivers who cannot be bothered to stop at pedestrian crossings or by those who think the use of indicators optional. I don't even drive and I get road rage!

Lurk. I've been a member since 2012 and haven't reached 100 posts, what does that say about me?

ma boi is bak hell good my name is merchant2006 and I stopped posting here after the old forums closed down because i grew sick of the stupidity i was seeing on a daily basis and the fact that I had two of my favourite series ruined. 

But, unfortunately, Dragon Age III is turning out to look like a title which has learnt a lot of lessons from the horrendous feedback we all threw their way. I'm glad. And I don't have to replay DA2 EVER AGAIN because of Dragon Age: Keep.
