The "new maps" were some of the oldest maps, ie prototypes from way early on in either a DLC or the game itself.

 

Personally no, I wouldnt, now before you grab your pitch forks and riot against me. Me personally I was ready for a new challenge, when you are in a post ship product there is only so much you could do. And I am a technical based tester so there wasnt new in the way of systems plus all my colleagues had moved onto frostbite so I felt like I was being left behind and becoming a relic.

I can see images in my head of a Javelin with three shots per mag... Oh it is glorious, glorious and so, so, so grand it hurts. Put down your Widow, put down your Black Widow, the fight is lost, give up.

 

But seriously, I can see why you would have nerfed that ammo count down. I can't say it would not have been finger-lickin' good though.

1. Kind of the first I am hearing about it, but as said I wasnt on DLC

2. Because that would have pushed it out a lot, even the "free" characters that came with Retaliation weren't exactly free in terms of work as others imagined. Plus it was coming out with a patch, and we weren't going to push back the patch just for more characters we saw the challenge system and other new features are more important.

4. Because we wanted it out fairly quickly (in comparison) and new mods equal big performance questions, and we were already looking tight on memory, plus the team was already starting to move off to other projects.

5. The team that you saw for stuff in ME3MP is scattered across multiple projects, so I would say things are unlikely to change but then again things do happen.

About Omega maps. If i good remember, someone from BW dev team mentioned that maps from Omega was considered, but not appear. I not sure, who told that.

Hi Bryan,I haven,t been able to post on the regular Forum,(do not meet requirements) N7 Bugeyed alien x,I actually play on xbox though listed as on PC.

But is there any chance you can fix my Geth challenge ,17 of 18 completed which is stuck ,as I Finished every single Geth weapon and whatnot  in June last year......

I notice that there is some opposition to MP for the DAi and  I realise you are not at liberty to confirm or deny a MP DAI game ,are you on the Pro,s side ?.

Ah I see. I love using the Typhoon wherever I get the chance, and Phantoms drive me crazy when I am hosting using this gun. They are a pain to kill sometimes.

 

I know that Guardians did receive a minor buff at one point, but I feel that are not a threat to players as AP ammo and mods destroy them. It is literally like shooting fish in a barrel. I felt like they have no practical purpose within the faction in MP.

 

In a hypothetical scenario when the BW team could haven given the Guardian a major buff, such as removing his shield, making him duel wield Talons, a movement speed increase, and dodging/combat rolls, would you agree to such major buffs? Or I am just nuts?

We wanted to increase his speed, but we couldnt

Maybe this is too personal, but can you tell us what Nathan Plewes is currently doing? I felt terrible when his contract wasn't renewed and he and his wife just had a new baby. I hope they are doing well.

 

On a lighter note, which silver challenge did you find the most annoying to complete so far? N7? 200 waves challenges? Raptor 20K points, etc.

I believe he is working for a company in the oil fields. He wasnt contract he was a full time position, he was just simply let go for other reasons.

 

I cant remember what I considered annoying, I think the challenges where I have to play volus (not a huge fan)

Polonium rounds. What was the eventual deciding factor in their exclusion from Retaliation? (if you know or can share)

Alright, this has been biting me all night.

 

The three-shot Javelin you mentioned; how did having those extra shots impact the way it is played? Was there any drawbacks in it's original form, such as a significant delay in firing time, such that it would have been slower than reload-cancelling? Or was it simply the unscrupulously over powered AA cannon from the get-go?

Don't be foolish. One of the basics of weapon balancing is that damage and capacity must always maintain a ratio. If the Javelin at one point had three shots, it means it would do less damage per shot for balance, which makes it some kind of disgusting heretic weapon.
