Hey,

 

Many of you already probably know how to install DLC's downloaded from BioWare website on Steam version of Mass Effect 2.

Some does not and because I haven't found any guides I've decided to make one. As recently I've purchased ME2 on Steam (used to own retail version but origin forced language change to awful Polish dubbing, I won't accept that).

 

These steps will guide one step by step on installing ME2 DLC's on Steam ME2.

 

1. Download Mass Effect 2 on steam

 

2. Download Registered ME2 DLC's from this webstie https://social.biowa...ntitlements.php

 

3. Verify integrity of Steam game cache (right click mass effect 2 in steam library, properties, game files, validate)

 

4. First launch the game

 

5. Once you connect with Cerberus network exit the game.

 

6. Double click desired DLC to start installation.

 

7. Proceed with on screen intructions.

 

Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you intstall all DLC's you own.

 

8. After everything is done and installed, launch the game.

 

9. Done

Wow I didnt check forums for that long. You can find DLC in step 2.

Hi, i have a problem. i do all steps, but a message appear "Mass Effect 2 is not installed". I tried all, i played for 12 hours, but i can't install the DLCs.

Don't forget that you can also copy the Steam CD Key and register it on Origin.

so i followed this step by step and it still says download next to the dlc's? am i missing something?
