Getting a melee death blow on a Nemesis with my Alliance Infiltration unit, the sound is just too satisfying!

 

Also the sweet sound of anything exploding when hit with cryo rounds/snap freeze.

The huge choice of kits/builds/weapons and the voices ... mostly.

 

From "BIIIG MASCHIIINE!" to the understated "textbook" to "MRAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAAHH They're DEAD!" - just adds that much more character to the game.

Kiting a Possessed Abomination to a spot that I would be able to let it grab me, only to have a teammate shoot it down in the middle of the hug.

I never used to be a fan of Firebase Reactor, but now it's one of my favourite maps. The hazard version is hilarious. And Firebase Glacier has nice long sight lines; especially good for a Demolisher / sniper.

I never used to be a fan of Firebase Reactor, but now it's one of my favourite maps. The hazard version is hilarious. And Firebase Glacier has nice long sight lines; especially good for a Demolisher / sniper.

Firebase Glacier has long sight lines?  This is tongue-in-cheek?  Always pissed to get Glacier in random matches if I'm sporting a sniper.

 

Well, might as well add something on topic --  love the teamwork/coordination that sometimes occurs (whether with randoms or friends).  Feels good to decimate all the enemies quickly.

A good sniper spot is the starting spot in glacier match. You can snip the enemies as they come through the landing zone area. But I agree it doesn't have long sight lines.

Javelin GI with Drill rounds ... walls are no impediment. Even on Glacier you get long sight lines

Ha, fair enough, though I do like sniping there. The starting position on that balcony is great, but you can get good results at the console just to the left, too. Nice cover if you need it, and you can cover the stairs behind you and the lab if you keep moving.

- that feeling I get when a reandom PUG member is actually a good player and sync's his power useage with mine for effectivness

- creative uses for ragdoll physics

- the all volus kill squad

- setting ff multiple tech/biotic detonations

- getting a wild idea for a build and finding out that IT WORKS! Ehrmahgerd!

- Volus rolling down the ramps and stairs...cause they is fatness

- when you watch a krogan go into a room, and enemy bodies come flying out a second later *swoon*

- poping up a juggy shield at the perfect moment to save a team member form an Altas missile

- painting my juggy the same colors as a Prime, and laughing as the team mates try to shoot me in a panic as I walk around the corner.

also, suprised nobody has mentioned the Geth Juggy high five!

Had a Juggy high five me back just once -- was sweet.  Though games probably don't need more than one Jug on the team, except maybe on glacier that's ok.

I do love the Black Widow (it's my most-used weapon, probably) but don't discount the sound of Rapid Javelin Fire (Shoot, reload-cancel, shoot) or even the non-black Widow. Rapid-firing those single-shot insanely-powerful guns is very satisfying.

 

I do love the sound of biotic explosions.

 

I love the extreme co-op nature of Multiplayer.

 

I love the variety.

 

I love that I've been playing this game for so long.

 

I love that I'm actually good at it. It's still kinda hard for me to actually admit/accept.

 

I like delivering Death by Poetic Justice. Headshottinga Nemesis, meleeing a Phantom, killing a ravager with Carnage, taking down a Banshee with warp, smashguarding a Dragoon, etc. Best of all of these, though, is killing a #$%^& Cerberus Engineer with his own turret.

I also can't believe I'm good at this game (nowhere near an elite, but good by my standards). I've never been this good at any other online game - There is something about the game that makes you want to get better, and makes it possible for you to get there.

 

And some others;

 

Head shotting a hiding Phantom (that never gets dull)

Head shotting a moving Phantom (nirvana when it happens)

Shadow striking everything

Taking out a boss unit with a final BE

Taking out swarmers with chain overload - very satisfying.

Saving the whole team from bleeding out, surounded by 2 turrets and several phantoms with a well placed missile.

Getting 20 headshots (normally against Collectors)

Doing well with an unconventional kit (Demolisher with no pylon, or Shadow weilding a Scimiter)

Staying alive while doing a duo (or being kept alive more like!)

Saving a bad pug by clutching waves.

Hazard Ghost - Love to hate that map. Looks gorgeous, but it's a pug graveyard.

Hydra - Looks fantastic - but see above.

Watching a Juggy trying to melee two banshees while being stomped by two brutes - doesn't end well!

I love the Vorcha soldier's vocalizations, especially the childlike identification of some of the enemies - phantom=ghost, brute=big monster, prime = big machine.  No doubt there are some others I haven't picked up on yet.  Also, the persistent cries of a nemesis when she's caught out in the rain on Firebase Ghost.
