Hello.

I've read today that the Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 2 has been delayed one week on Spain because a printing problem. I don't know if it's de 360 version, the PC version, both or none of them.

I pre-ordered, a month ago, Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition for PC in a local store where I usually buy all my games, and they know nothing about the delay.

Is it true or just a false rumor? I wan't the Collector's Edition, but I don't want to wait another week!!!
My brother has bought the Deluxe Edition on Steam, so I could play with his account while waiting for the Collector's Edition... but I prefer to register mine and get all the DLC extras since the beginning.

Its true man, i got the same notice here in finland, and they said it applies to whole europe, but regular version should arrive on time.

Hey, I'm Spanish (though I don't live there), and according to my brother the CE has been delayed. This delay, however, seems to be for all of Europe. If you look at Game's webpage, the date has been updated to February, the 4th.

I got an email from the store I pre-ordered the CE from, and they said it was delayed in Scandinavia/the Nordic region, due to production problems.

It's the same for all none English speaking Europe.

I really hope it is only in the Nordic region then... Because if it isn't i probably have to wait a week more (Holland) But as our ME1 CE was in English it may be possible that the English one isn't delayed and we get it on time.

It's not only the Nordic region. Didn't you read what was said about Spain?

Didn't you read what TBZ00 said? And if the whole Europe has this problem. Why isn't the CE(yet) delayed in the UK and some other country's? (or it is EA being slow again... ) However the chance is big that it will be delayed for the whole of Europe. I just hope it isn't. But we still didn't get a dev response. As the first topic about this is already 3 days old. They cant just ignore this? Even if they dont know this... It would be nice if they would look into it...

In Spain all the games shops (GameStop(This sent a email to me because my preorder of the CE), GAME,...) changed the release date of CE to the 4'th February of the PC version, the XBOX360 CE version was removed from the web, I think there don't have more stock.



La verdad chicos, no se si resistire la tentacion de comprarme la edicion normal, pero intentare mantenerme en mis 13 y esperar al 4 de febrero, si no adelantan la fecha (Que la diosa me oiga)

Im from Denmark and it was also delayed there so I just switched to the standard edition instead of the CE.

EA in Poland said that they have problems with printing the art book.
But  the PC CEs will be available on time just without the art books. People will be able to get those a week after the premiere.

Yo lo he reservado desde Xtralife.es y sí, el lanzamiento ha sido aplazado hasta el 4 de febrero.... Y NO SABEIS LA SUERTE QUE HE TENIDO. Me pillaba el juego en medio de exámenes de Universidad y no sabía si podría resistir la tentación. Menuda suerte que el destino me deje estudiar con la conciencia tranquila xD

In Germany, we don`t have any problems, no informations about any delay so it can`t be all of europe.

Here in the Netherlands, I've heard nothing of a delay from my point of purchase, nor have I heard anything about the Netherlands' version being delayed anywhere.



Looks like I'm still on-track for a release-day (or shortly there-after depending on when the game is delivered to me...) play-time.

Yeah, I knew about this. Today i just saw that gamestop had changed the release date marked on the website.



Y me da igual, tengo tiempo libre desde el día 26, no puedo estar hasta el cuatro sin jugar. Me compraré la edición normal. =D Antes solía ser una maniática de estas cosas, comprando siempre las ediciones más especiales de todo. Ahora ya me da igual, y soy más feliz.

I've send an e-mail tot Bol.com (Dutch website that sells media stuff) if the PC CE was still coming on time, they said that the PC CE was still expected around the 29th. However bol.com is not just a gaming site so they might not even know about a possible delay, or not tell me.



I really hope I don't get the delay, or that it's going to be like it is in Poland so you get the artbook on a later date

There may be a reason we have to wait 3 days (shock! horror!) or it may just be the fact games go on sale in, I'm guessing, most EU countries on a friday, whereas this may not happen in the US.

It's not the MANUAL that's wrong, either. It's the Art Book. Chances are the amount of English in it at all is minimal, not like it makes a difference. Someone who posted earlier said that the CE will come on time but minus the artbook, which seems plausible (I believe BioShock's Collector's Edition had a very similar problem).

Earlier this week there was a post about it being delayed in Poland, which makes me think that this problem is Europe-wide. Going to have to preorder a normal version from Gamestop now to get both the bonus sets. Hopefully I'll be able to sell it to a friend or something, or I'll be stuck with two copies of the same game...
