You suck up to the mods don't you?
Strange interpretation of those suggestions.

It's true though More active mods? Longer bans for trolls? I wish i could report him for being misguided.

To reiterate a true muting feature is needed. Complete threads, and postings by an individual.

Also, not on BSN, but for BSN: Create an Android/Iphone App for BSN, like Facebook's app, to improve the navigation on mobile platforms.

and when did i say "longer ban"? i said "5 ban policy", its just because people got banned multiple times now and not worried about getting perma ban because they can just run off again within 3 to 5 days so how about the 5th offense will be permanent.
also its an "opinion and a suggestion". get a grip pal. lols

Sounds good to me. If more mods were paying attention, wouldn't have 2 trolls running amok in the DAI forum right now.
You can't expect mods to be present all the time. If you see something like that, you have to report it.
The mods will get to it when able.

Anyways, if I could wish for any function on the BSN, it would be a Delete Post option.

2. Re-open the tech support forums on BSN: I'm not sure how likely this is but it'd be nice if this section could be re-opened. With tech support on EA Answer HQ I have to swap between two different websites now if I want to help people. Plus EA Answer HQ is a ghost town and there's just no community there, at least in the Mass Effect section. I've seen new posts that have been unanswered for days sometimes.
3. Option to register Mass Effect 1: It'd be great to have an option to register ME1 on the BSN. ME2 and ME3 and the Dragon Age games have this option so that their icons appear below my avatar on BSN posts, but ME1 is missing. I've heard that an older version of BSN had this so hopefully it can be brought back.

In some cases, material that people feel is helpful, and related to the forum, is being deleted.
There are varying opinions about this, but discussion was easier when posts and threads were not deleted while in the middle of it.
I will copy a response I posted elsewhere, which expresses my views on the kind of topics that are now deleted. My answers are in italics.

Asking for friends to play with is useful information?
Yes, it is. Enormously. My friend's list was built off of the people I met on BSN, as opposed to the random people who would have driven me off of this game in frustration months ago.
Commenting on how great the playerbase in ME3 is useful information?
I find it useful information, because it lets me know which posters are paying attention to the whole picture, instead of the narrow slice of it that fits their view of things.
Threads with ME3 related pictures and memes is useful information?
Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't. Mine wasn't, except insofar as it discussed a potential glitch to the game, as well as some information about finding music for YouTube videos. Is that useful enough? Obviously not. Which is why some people - very reasonable ones, I might add - have unanswered questions about the criteria being used to determine these decisions.
A challenge thread is useful information?
If new challenges keep people interested in playing the game until ME 4 gets released, then you can bet it's in BioWare's best interests to stop deleting them. The Devs OPENLY supported the ME 3 MP Player community's self-created tournaments, although they could not create content for them. I would say the devs set a CLEAR standard on this issue, which the new mods do not follow. It is NOT wrong to ask why.
No, they are legit threads, but in the face of total and complete derailment, are easier to just delete.
So how did a smaller number of unpaid volunteer mods manage to do the job for years, then, through the process of banning repeat offenders, and editing posts with offending material?
Just because it's easy, doesn't mean it's right.
At any rate, the issue is best taken to one of the existing threads, or the general section of the forums.
It would be entirely appropriate for those with concerns on all sides of this issue to take those concerns to Jessica Merizan's thread regarding "Changes You Would Like to See on BSN," which I believe is in the off-topic forum. It's been a bit quiet for the last couple of weeks, but I think clearly people have more to say, and I think they should say it. I will take my next post there.

I will add that I have PM'd the new mod accounts with questions about how these decisions were made, and voicing my concerns about them. I have yet to receive any response.
I do feel this is getting to be an issue, and it is effecting the MP Forum. If there is a way to move towards a middle ground, where the threads with bug fixes, or that serve the purpose of keeping the community vibrant and cohesive while the team works on ME 4, can be found.

I second what has been written here. The multiplayer subforum has been a great place for us to connect with other players. We have been able to find friends to game with, get new builds and strategies to try, put together our own challenges to keep ourselves entertained, share data on how the game's mechanics work, share our experience with newer players, and many other possitive things.
Since the changes in moderation some threads with valuable discussion have just disapeared. While posts that violate the terms of use should certainly be dealt with in whatever way the mods deem appropriate, we feel that removing useful content along with them is not the way to go and this is what is driving a lot of the frustration in the multiplayer subforum.
We understand that some out of control behavior may have led to these changes in moderation but hopefully a middle ground can be found where disruptive actions are dealt with without taking away from possitive interactions among the community.

Also Allow us to upload custom Avatars without DA.
Aaaaand allow us to upload custom avatars without DA.
I also think that allowing to upload custom avatars without DA would be a nice addition.
Other than that can't think of anything off the top of my head.
Edit: Lift the restriction on PMing other forum users, PMing mods and BW personnel should stay restricted, but leave someone who we can still PM to ask things, like for example ''Will there ever be a comprehensive Retail copy of the ME series with all the DLC included in the pack'' kinda questions as currently I don't really know who I should contact to ask those types of question.

1. Re-open the Mass Effect 3 Character & Romance Discussion section: It's been 9 months since it was closed and the forum feels a bit empty without it. I'm not a fan of the way groups work and groups for things I want to talk about are hard to find, so if the Character & Romance Discussion section was opened up again posts wouldn't be hidden away in hard to find groups any more.
I second that. It's always wrong (and frankly lazy IMO) to punish everyone for the behaviour of a few.
And I'm not just talking about BSN.

In addition, the Profile Comments should really be in line with an email inbox, allowing us to delete multiple comments at a time. What if we want to clean that out? Deleting hundreds of comments one at a time is wack.
