Remove the block on the ME3 forums.

I understand why it was blocked. You were probably getting spammed by people reacting to the Me3 ending mess without actually owning the game.

however it's settled down now, after more than a year.

There are threads I'd like to participate in, for instance the thread on what we want in ME4, so why shouldn't I be able to?

They need to remove the romance block Priestly put on the ME3 forum because he got mad at some posters one day.
He should have removed it before he left.

This is a good idea me thinks.

I would also like to be able to add my own avatar, perhaps make it something you can do after you have belonged for a while?

I would also like a spell checker or allow the code to allow Firefox's to work on the forum posting GUI.

And for the LIFE of me I don't understand why the mods will block/delete any real user just because they post something inflammatory BUT they will not stop the spam BLOG postings. Why don't do this? They are ruining a huge asset and they just ignore it? Please I would love to hear what their excuse is on this,.

I'm surprised that this is something that's restricted. As I'm not on Windows, I don't have access to the workaround to get a custom avatar.

Little thing, but if you color or underline text, then later on decide to edit a post containing colored or underlined text, the color disappears and you have to reapply it, and underline tags appear to the right of the underlined text.

Odd, makes no sense.

Mercedes, I think Neoseeker has that.
It's called Ignore.
You push the Ignore button on your enemy player X and his post disappear , for you.
They are still there, you can't see them.
Of course X could do the same to you.
Would cut down on feuds and vendettas on the BSN.
Could have used it this past weekend on a player I'm feuding with.
Might require a system upgrade because it has to go back through all the memory.

Moderators are here to enforce the Site Rules. These rules allow us to lock, remove, or edit posts or threads that violate the Site Rules. The rules also allow Moderators to warn or ban community members when they violate the Site Rules. These Site Rules are the same ones that all community members explicitly agree to follow and be governed by when they sign up to participate in the BSN.

"Inflammatory" posts could run afoul of Rule #1, #3, #4, or #7, so yes, community users could conceivably be warned or banned for making such posts. Moderators can not and do not delete user accounts.

BUT they will not stop the spam BLOG postings. Why don't do this? They are ruining a huge asset and they just ignore it? Please I would love to hear what their excuse is on this,.

Nearly 40 such spam accounts have been banned by Moderators in the last 2 days alone. We clean up the forums and ban such accounts as soon as we find them or they are reported to us.

Forum admin is trying different ways to prevent them without affecting legitimate users too much. We are not ignoring the issue.

I just realized we actually have a photo album available, maybe that feature can get a slight update so it can be used for avatars.

There are a couple of players who act like the twitter feed thread belongs to them.
They'll attack you if they don't like your post.
Seems almost like they're patrolling it.
Told Schumacher about it months ago and all he did was issue warnings .
They need to be stopped.

That's something that should be reported through the reporting system. It is not a forum improvement idea.

OT section needs to be less strict. Allow us to discuss about more topics than simply entertainment. If people argue let them, no one is going to hurt anyone over a forum.

The BSN needs you.
Who's going to write the code to improve the BSN, especially if it requires a system upgrade ?
Is there a chatroom associated with the BSN .
Never looked for one.

Biomod 02 is a District Attorney. He lets everyone use there servers so long as he can moderate there forums, and close threads with amusing hyperbole.
