I'd like to see the filter removed. All of BioWare's games are rated 'mature.' It's not like this place is filled with four year olds (though judging from my posts there may be at least *one.*)

Oh, and it would be cool to have a spoiler tag. The way this worked is if you used this

Spoiler
it would black out the text and the only way to view it would be to highlight it.

Oh yes, more emotes would be nice as well as custom avatars. It's damn shameful that we don't have any xD it'd be easier to recognise the regulars here. And I'd like my own gif avatar too!

Actually, Baldur's Gate 1 is 'T', Baldur's Gate 2 is 'T', Shattered Steel is 'T', KOTOR is 'T', NeverWinter nights is 'T', NeverWinter nights 2 is 'T', MDK2 is 'T', and Sonic Chronicles is rated 'E'.

Can we have an option to change our passwords on-site?

I've been resetting all of mine out of caution due to the kickstarter thing. Ran into trouble here because it redirects you off to an EA site. That site tried to get me to create some kind of universal name id, which I pressed cancel & found it only had the appearance of being mandatory. Tried changing password there, but get nothing but a system error message. Because of their site I feel a little more at risk on yours, which is kindof of weird. I'd feel safer just trusting you guys & using a system here.

An ignore function.

I don't know if this function exists, but it might be helpful if the ability to create threads could be removed or limited on an individual basis. That way, those who consistently abuse the privileged can be banned from making threads but still participate in the forum. If said individual continues by behaving badly with abusing post privileges, then a full ban can be given. Maybe that would be too much work for the mods, but it just seems like it would solve a lot of headaches for those forumites who come here to participate in a friendly manner, and those who are just looking for negative attention.

Better communication with the community. If there is a problem with the site or changes have intentionally been made (less obvious one's moreso), could you keep us informed better.

ie. The Dragon Age uploader.

The ability to message non-friends again.

It gets annoying when you have to message someone something but you have to A- hope they accept your request and then B- wait for it

I'm in that position right now. Its not pleasant.

Ah if this involves the Dragon Age forum, I think we might have the same person in mind...

I agree. Sometimes specific people create topics that seem innocent enough but really only exist to get a rise out of others, usually due to their reputation for surprise, past threads. This causes immediate derailment and attention being solely on them. Preventing them from doing exactly that would be wunderbar.

But hey!

Now I can have more Eruka Frog avatars!

Not sure how it's implemented, but one thing I've seen forums do before is having it so if you make another post when you were the last person to post in a topic, it just merges your post with your last post.

Unless I am just missing it, an "Edit" option for our posts would be nice. Made a post about 15 minutes ago, and one of the new emoticons didn't fire correctly. Wanted to just "edit" to remove it, but I didn't see an option to do so.

Please bring back the recent activity feed as the main page when we sign in. It's still there, but we have to jump through hoops to find it. Also, it looks like our friends' forum posts don't appear in this new feed (it only showed status updates and comments on said updates).

Obviously any time a layout changes, there's a learning curve, but the removal of the feed really diminishes BSN's social aspect. Please consider this.

Look bye where the quote option is for other peoples posts. Bottom right corner of the box.

Edit: testing to see if it works.

It would be nice if you added a "friends only" filter to the "view new content" section.

Can you tell me which emoticon failed to display?  Some of the older, BSN emoticons may render as text-only, due to not existing on the new forum, but all of the ones available now should work.

I see the edit feature now, but it really wasn't there the first time I looked. lol! I assumed that was where it would be. Thanks for the reply though. It helped me recheck, and now I see it is working. ;)
