On Firefox. Border is barely visible.

1)Allow images. Allow blocking of signiture images if you need to have it alongside that. Whatever. There's a place for small banners.

2)Yeah the border should be more distinct and visible. I can hardly spot it, but I'm viewing this on a tv across the room.

Some very intelligent posters will accuse you in blindness now.

I'm confused with the sig's it says

Your signature may contain:

  • Up to 0 images
  • Images of any size
  • Up to 5 URLs
  • Up to 5 lines

So it both can and can't have images?

This was a nice surprise, Jessica's tweet led me here to witness this new age :D

Some alternative forum layouts would be cool, though!!

Can this get renamed to The Off-Topic Lobby or something similar? The parentheses bother me, lol.

I'd also like to see BSN change so that it load faster. I don't know if it's just a temporary heavy load from all the changes or what.

But I will give credit where it's due, post preview and uploading avatars directly are nice features.

Very nice, posting isn't as clunky as it was before either, much closer to something like vbulletin

You can set your timezone in your profile setting in the upper right.

Click on your user name top right, in the drop down click on "My Settings"

Found that. Thanks.

I'd still prefer something that was relative, but it works.

Just found out that the spoiler thing works now. Good on you, Bioware.

Do it as you'd expect, with these-- [  ]  and

spoiler

in between them.

So we can expect no more accidental spoilers?

Spoiler

At least it'll cut down on them. And provides a better option than having to change text color.

Edit: I'd also like to note that my games aren't showing up below my post count. Is there a reason for this? Your script for number of posts apparently picked me up, but is that on a script as well?

Oh, I agree that the spoiler feature is useful. I'm glad Bioware (finally) added it.

For the games, you have to copy your games' profile links from the old forum and paste them on 'General account' page in 'my setting'. It works only for DAO, DA2 and ME3 though.

Thanks. No idea how I'd do that, though.

To clarify, no idea what the old links would be.

Go to 'Register games' in your old profile and click on 'view player profile'. Then copy the link of that page (you have to do this for each game)and paste it on the general account page in the setting of your new profile.

This is the second time I witness global BSN changes. And I always miss the old setting.

Too bad the private groups cannot be recovered...

These new forums are a strain on my eyes.  Is there any way to change the color scheme?  I've done enough powerpoints in my life to recognzie that dark colored backgrounds with light colored wording is far easier on the eyes than the opposite.

Nothing at the moment although they have said they're working on a new theme but there's no timeline for its release.

A member has posted a work-around that will do the job for the time being -> http://forum.bioware...nly-background/

The new design is good, I actually like it. But I didnt find any privacy setting in my profile settings, its doesnt necessary anymore?

Sweeeet.

Plus finally accessible spoiler code. New forum is smexy. Now all they have to do is load up a dark background/theme and this is going to be purrfect.

I find the white background hurts my eyes.

Some of the new features do seem nice, but they come at a huge cost. I've already shared my thoughts about what happened to groups, so moving on to what I'd like to see:

I'd like groups to receive some leeway, given this very troubling transition, to figure themselves out with:

- Functioning privacy settings for groups. It is currently not possible to restrict groups to be viewable by members and moderators only. While there are settings for this, the lack of privacy settings on profiles renders them useless, since anyone can access them through links.

- Privacy settings for profiles. Since the group's privacy settings don't work because of the lack of profile privacy settings, this would solve two problems at once - sort of.

- The ability to individually determine access to parts of my profile. It would be nice, for example, to allow people to post comments on my status or profile, but not to have every topic I make, or post I make, appear publicly on my profile.

- Load Times. There are some issues with the site's forums loading. Even fast computers/connections have to wait a long time between links, when navigating forums. While this happened on BSN, as well, it was occasional, as opposed to constant.
