Another no to dislikes. That is a really unneeded, hateful feature when it's toward individual posts. I'm glad youtube got rid of that when they switched to google, for all the crying that generated. (the thumbs down button is still there for some reason, but AFAIK it does nothing)

And that's on youtube we're talking about, where flagrant racism, etc is on full display. Instead people just give a ton of likes to whoever bites back, which I think is a better way of airing your 'criticism' than a dislike button.

The only place I can see a "helpful" tag being relevant would be in the help subforums like this one, but this subforum does have a "this post answered my question" tag that you can use. You don't get badges for it, though.

Came back to quote this and mention that yeah, it just gets abused. Saw someone on another forum get negative rep(dislikes) for basically no reason.

I think it would be nice if there was system for appealing or reviewing moderation decisions. Having no official recourse to address mistakes or issues can be very frustrating.

sounds like a lot of work.

Increase in the amount of likes able to be given out in a day.

It sounds like a weird complaint, but if a group of private messages reaches past 15-ish pages, the rest of it is not included when you attempt to archive it.

I would like to be able to ignore threads. There are a few long running threads that are vexatious and never having to see them would be lovely.

Fix the link posting cut and paste issues! I shouldn't have to switch to another browser just to get the paste function to work. The editor is a real pain.

What browser are you using?

Speaking of cut and paste issues, it would be great if the "paste as plain text by default" option was enabled by default. I'm using the dark theme (call me old fashioned) and whenever people prepare their posts in word processing software beforehand, they tend to show up as huge white blocks of text that I usually need to highlight to be able to read.

It would bring mass unwanted spam.

blogging didn't bring mass unwanted spam before (as far as I could tell).

However - what I want....

1) The ability to contact Bioware to report bugs

2) The ability to post to discussion threads - on my own project page

3) The ability to edit existing posts in a discussion thread - on my own project page

I don't know how long the discussions have been 'broken' on the project pages.  I successfully created a new topic/posted 2 weeks ago, but couldn't reply or edit my post starting last Friday and extending through today.

Edit: just tested - I can no longer create a new discussion thread.

Edit2: posting is now working (4 days for a post to appear is too long), but it is clear that there needs to be a 'report problem' or 'report bug' option.

It would be great if we could create tables with BBCode

Example,

[table]
[tr]
[th]Column 1[/th]
[th]Column 2[/th]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td]Row 1 under Column 1[/td]
[td]Row 1 under Column 2[/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td]Row 2 under Column 1[/td]
[td]Row 2 under Column 2[/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

Under the Origin logo on the top right corner. The Sign in text got a typo.

It says;

SIgn in. notice it? A large I :)

More Adjectives for the like score.

I mean after (whatever the number is) for excellent the score keeps growing but nothing changes. I feel like it might make it a bit more interesting

I'd like to see more Themes/background images for the forums.

Dragon Age Origins
Dragon Age II

Mass Effect
Mass Effect II
Mass Effect III

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

any other game themes you have made from your games to offer.

That would be good.

Background of your favorite characters either by themselve or with other characters(For me it would be Samantha Traynor)

I've noticed threads become "hot" way too fast. 14 posts isn't "hot". Almost every thread in off-topic is labeled as "hot". I think it should be at minimum 100 posts.

Yes definitely more backgrounds. Maybe some inquisition ones after the game is released. All in the same style as they are now

Well, maybe it's already mentioned, but on other forums members earn a name when you have a number of posts

For example:

100 posts: Legion

500 posts: The Illusive man

(I'm sorry, those are all Mass Effect names, I don't play dragon age  :)   )

...

And you can choose a name when you have reached a number of posts (for example 10.000), or more, I saw people around here with 45.000+ posts, that's a lot

And then that name would be under your username, or something like that :P
I hope everybody knows what I am trying to explain :D

You saw ONE. There is ONLY one. I am THAT guy. hahahaha

Which is why I'd be absolutely terrified if they had names/titles related to post counts.

45K+ would probably be "LPPls Stahp"
