limit the likes to 5/day. people may consider more carefully what is worth liking.
What changes would you like to see on the BioWare Forum?

I'd like there to be fewer forums. Particularly forums that are fairly low traffic and closely connected anyway. Scattering the discussion across a ton of largely redundant forums is just annoying.

Ten more likes/day would be absolutely lovely. It would allow those of us who are more active to openly appreciate the work of other positive posters. And maybe even recognize a wet blanket when he does something nice.
From 48 to 58? Bit of an odd number. In that case, why not 60? Or 64?

I like the way you think. ![]()

A delete button might be nice. I know that we can always walk away from a comment before we post, but a delete button right below the comment box might be of psychological help in emphasizing how strongly we repudiate that sudden urge to compare console gaming to pc gaming.

Agreed. All of mine don't even show up anyway and they're kinda distracting tbh.

Avatar gifs.
Bring those back!! (Ok,they were never officially there to begin with, but would be nice to have the option now).

Sometimes people's avatars would slow pages down, especially in tandem with gifs in posts and such.
That problem doesn't exist anymore unless there's too many videos posted on one page and it takes a while for the page to load, so I don't know if they're necessary.
I definitely miss them, but I think I'll live without them.

Don't yours not show up because your other account that you play on was banned?
Yeah premabanned for playfully calling my friend "an offensive word". Kind of an over the top reason to forever ban someone's account, isn't it?
And Allan and I already worked that out.
I fail to see how my ban is relevant. DA icon is there but the others are not.

On some forums the mods are cool, like Gundamforums or Planetdestiny.
On the more populated and mainstream forums, like BSN, Bungie.net or Halowaypoint the mods are more strict. That's because and to be frank, there's more idiots there. (And people like myself who tend to start riots).
I notice some fail troll when I first signed back up here, and that was a prime example on why the mods are strict. He was not only failing at the art of trolling and failing at pissing everyone off but telling the mods off like an idiot.

This has probably been suggested before (and if so, I apologize) but is there a way to auto-lock topics that haven't had any replies for a certain amount of time? (That, or maybe a notice could be pinned to the top of every forum saying something like "please don't reply to topics that have had no activity for the last 30 days" or something similar.)

I don't know if I'd like this. It does work to prevent unnecessary necroes of smaller threads, but some threads have lasted a long time and have dips in activity of over a month or so. Better to see them revived than repeated.

Is it possible to fix links to the older forum posts/comments? A lot of combat strategy guide compilations link to individual comments and the change of forum structure causes all those links to go back to the original post. Example
Check Overload and Neural Shock link, that was the one I wanted to open

Maybe a darker theme.
I think they purposely wanted a lighter theme after the BSN. The white one they started with after the forum update last year was blinding to many who's eyes were used to the darkness of the BSN so they made a darker theme that is grey in response to feedback.
Are you asking for the grey theme we have already or an even darker one closer to black? Anyway if you haven't changed to the grey theme yet, there's an option on the bottom lefthand side of the forum, says "Change Theme" next to the language you have set.

There is something other than the grey theme?
