I think they purposely wanted a lighter theme after the BSN. The white one they started with after the forum update last year was blinding to many who's eyes were used to the darkness of the BSN so they made a darker theme that is grey in response to feedback.

Are you asking for the grey theme we have already or an even darker one closer to black? Anyway if you haven't changed to the grey theme yet, there's an option on the bottom lefthand side of the forum, says "Change Theme" next to the language you have set.

I use the grey theme now. But I would prefer a darker theme.

I'm used to it but if they offered a darker theme than the current grey I'd likely take it.

Does BioWare even care about what people want and post on here?

Obviously not since my inquiry was completely ignored via bringing up my passed account.

But alas, I'm only here for certain people and not BioWare.

I use the dark theme made by a fellow member. It makes me feel like a hacker.

Some pie would be nice, or maybe a green salad with blue cheese crumbles.

I really do question the mods reasons for banning people, locking threads, issuing warning points and deleting posts.

You have plenty of salty spiteful people who are obviously bored with their lives going around and silently reporting anything and everything that people post just to be a b****. How does locking threads that "aren't being productive" justify anything? Un-Productivity is subjective, just because a moderator thinks that something is useless doesn't necessarily mean it is.

Over half of the mods lack conviction. Rather than see that some posts and threads are just pure humor they see it as something to lock.

Some people just don't like others for no apparent reason other than bias emotions, thus all they'll do is "leave" BSN and just report anything certain users post.

I honestly don't care about such low behavior, but honestly, my recent warning point was over a post that was considered offensive when it really wasn't.

How is posting a meme that says, "I regret nothing" offensive? Not unless you take everything a personal attack thus forever hating someone I suppose.

The mods really ought to look into someone's reporting history a bit better before jumping the gun.

I still use this one. It's darker.

Though the new BSN's dark theme isn't too bright, the colors just feel off to me. Plus, this way you can use a custom background.

I'd love for a theme like this here.

Yeah, the mods don't see any humor in anything. If there's a thread and everyone is having fun, the mod has to ruin it and lock it for no reason. And when you try to contact them they never respond.

I swear the mods on PlanetDestiny and Gundam forums are far better and they actually interact with the posters. The mods here sit silently and lock crap for not being, "Productive" but at the same time they're not contributing to the forum whatsoever. I'm sure all of Biowaremod03's posts (I keep using him as an example) are all, "We're not being productive... locking thread. We are done here, etc" yet you never see him interacting with the forum posters.

I want to know why the mods seem to have it out for me and why there's so many.

If you guys hate me that much, just ban me for a day or two.

The option to like posts for archived threads. I know it's unlikely, but will just put that idea out there anyway.

A proper way to make partial quotes, please! It's 2015, you know. Why do I have to quote the wall of text to comment on a single line? Am I supposed to manually copy-paste and tag quotes?

Also, give me an option to hide that fugly game icons block under my av. I've never asked for this, I've never given a permission to display my gaming list, had not even linked my gaming profiles to the forum. Not seeing the others' icons would also be welcome.

Why do we even need those icons in order to post in certain threads? That's just plain stupid. We've all played a BW game so we should be able to post where ever off the bat, no need to go link this and that.

A very good thing would be the moderators answering a simple question after reading it. I moderate on three different forums and wouldn't last as a moderator very long if I didn't respond to a members question..

Are they just lazy or uncaring? Either way they should be replaced.

I have an idea-

DO NOT REMOVE THE OFF TOPIC SECTION OF THE FORUM. ITS KIND OF NECESSARY FOR A HEALTHY FORUM.

God this is terrible. A huge part of the reason I hang out here so much is the off topic section;it keeps things clean and fosters various discussions with a great community that CAN'T be held elsewhere because we're all here ALREADY. Getting rid of it means I'll spend a TON of less time here and that in turn means I won't be able to converse about Bioware subjects nearly as much as I already do.

Ergh.

Seconded.

Off-topic's a chance to find common ground and get to know other posters. I don't see how removing such a space will in any way improve discussion in the other boards.
