Either you should be able to send a PM with a friend invitation or sending a person a friend invitation should open up your profile for twenty four hours. For whatever reason, people tend to create new profiles on BSN. I generally do not friend people unless I like what they say or they have an interesting profile. Now if someone sends an invitation, there is no way to know who they are or were.

1. Preview posts

2. Multi-quote

3. A link to a post should link to that post, not to the last post in the thread

4. I'm not sure what type of input the standard form uses, but it blocks spell checkers and accepts formatted text (and the forums do a poor job of rendering said formatted text), so it should do not those things

5. Mobile version

6. The "BioWare" button shouldn't hide user posts. Instead, it should link to the first BioWare post in the thread. BioWare posts should have a "BioWare" button that links to the next BioWare post in that thread.

7. Stricter moderation. You guys shouldn't tolerate people who do nothing but hate on BioWare and EA. I frequent other game company forums that crack down on EA hate more than you guys do.

1.) No more "ghost updates." They drive me nuts when I am trying to look for real updates.

2.) Fix the "Change Album" option for images. It is broke as heck right now.

3.) The new PM rule seems like a major league crapshoot tbh.

4.) It wouldn't hurt to make the "block" option a bit more potent.

5.) Ban Timer? :D

Fix the standard form so that the spell checker works with it again. Re-instate pm's so they work like they used to and like it works on 99.9% of other boards that have the feature. Allow multiple messages to be sent without having to wait. Put quick-jump links so that you can get to the threads that you want without having to scroll through all the rest.

Oh! I forgot an import one. Maybe because I am so used to be irrrtated by it that I forgot. Ghehe. Please fix the friend invitation when there is no such invitation. It can disappear for hours, but it pops up gain sooner or later. It's like that on my account for more than a year now. Maybe two years. Please? :)

Hi. I just came back here recently after a hiatus. I have a question about the new reporting system.

In the past, there was a old sticky on the MP (or other boards) by a mod, forgot name (Bryan something?) He specifically said to NOT use the report link as it gets sent to a system overseeing all EA based forums, and as such action would not be taken as quickly. He said to PM a moderator instead.

So, has this changed? Does the report link now work properly, as in going straight to BSN only mods and notifying them only? Just curious.

It was a bad idea to give moderator privileges to all Bioware employees . Some clearly aren't up to the task. So they should be stripped of moderator abilities.
Find some nonBioware people to be moderators . They couldn't be any worse.
I will go to other sites and inform players about the moderators here. Sheesh!

1.How about a moral system.to see which users happen to be "good/bad".so when people see a lower "moral rating" on a user, they dont get their undies in a bunch.while reading that persons post or uploads.itll force them to take whatever the issue with a grain of salt, lets be honest alot of the humor here had "died" due to over senstivie people and "HS drama"

2.I'll admit it.i use my xbox 360:Internet Explore at times to be on here, it would be nice to use the actual form post build, instead of the quick reply box.(like im using now)

3.Give me moderator power(part time, as im trying to save the world from its self.i seem to be losing right now).im not batman

4.like others have said, being able to change user name.give us a cap of changes per month or year, with a filter for "obsence/vaugor" names.it that helps us get the "freedom" to be able to change our handle

5.how about an internet bar/cafe`.i know it would make this place nicer, but not the kind with "herb" in the brownines.im not in high school anymore, just booze and actually coffee.that would be great

How about an actual admin/supermod with the responsibility and guts to police moderators and correct mistakes THEY make?

After seven pages, the only thing I think I'll add...

How about a way to register more Bioware titles? With GOG & Steam people have an easier time finding them now. Not only will having badges for the other titles allow people to tag more of their favorites but by having the extra badges it might clue some curious forumites into those games. I realize its mostly just a cosmetic thing, but I think if it helps other titles get some recognition & promotes them then it'll be good. Maybe registering those games can open up more avatars & such, so for people wanting more avatars there could be somewhat of an answer there too.

I like the moderators to be consistent. I got a message from one of the new moderators about an image I posted that was related to the thread. He/she stated no single image can be posted since it is spam. Well that's fine, so why didn't he/she deleted all the other images that were posted on that thread? What's the saying practice what you preach.

The REPORT system has been modified for use by BSN Moderators in day-to-day situations. So far, it's been working marvelously, with most reported issues being resolved within an hour. Because it's still so new, there may be hiccups along the way, and we certainly appreciate community members working with us Moderators in working it out.

REPORTs can be seen directly by BSN Mods now. When reporting issues, please be appropriately detailed in your description. We need enough information to know what we should be looking for or where the problem is, but we don't necessarily need you to editorialize or tell us a story about it.

For example, if you're reporting a post for hate speech, it's okay to include the description "using 'retard' against people" or "he's calling other people 'retards'." You can even quote the line where the reported user is doing this.

If you're reporting an enitre thread, it'd be helpful to know if it's the OP that's the problem, or if it's the thread title, a certain user who's the issue, or whether the entire thread is imploding with spam or childish behaviour.

Last night, I dealt with a couple of reports that I determined were not rules violations. I messaged the reporters directly to let them know that I didn't think it was a rules violation and that I was closing the report as 'resolved.' I suggested that they send another report if they see anything else that might be a rules violation.

Does that sufficiently address your concern? If not, what else would you like to know?

Considering the small number of BioWare employees who have BSN accounts, and the even smaller number who do their own moderating (I count fewer than 5 developers who aren't on the web/community team), I don't know that you can accurately judge that, Angrywolves.

Find some nonBioware people to be moderators . They couldn't be any worse.

I and the other named Moderators (we have MODERATOR tags rather than BIOWARE tags) are non-BioWare people. And as far as I am aware, the BioWareMod0# accounts are run by folks who are not BioWare developers.

I will go to other sites and inform players about the moderators here. Sheesh!

I will consider this a "sour grapes" type post since you disagree with your ban, Angrywolves, but badmouthing BSN Moderators at every opportunity is not a productive way to resolve the issue and will eventually get you banned. I am repeating my offer to deal with the issue if you want me to. Send me a friend request and we can talk.

An explanation of what an inappropriate topic is in the official rules. Just so we can steer clear of creating a thread about them and more clarity can be added to the boards.

Are each of the BioWareMod accounts used by one person or do they share the same account?

For example is BioWareMod01 used by only one person?

I'd like a better mobile version. I find it very difficult to send private messages and close those windows detailing changes to the rules while accessing this site using my iPod or my Android.

The BioWareMod accounts are used by more than one person, which is one reason they have a generic name.
