Okay, so DA2 had excellent improvement to eyes. I love them. I have just one color that I was missing, though. In 'The Calling' it's mentioned that elves are known for their purple and green eyes, however I haven't seen a purple option yet. I'd love to have a purple option for eyes.

Edit: I got the exact phrasing from my copy of 'The Calling'.

"She had pretty eyes for an elf, he thought. Most elves Duncan had known always possessed such eerie eyes - light greens and purples, impossible hues that somehow made them seem alien."

Ooh, that'd be nice.

I want my vashoth inquisitor to have blazing red eyes just to intimidate the hell out of everyone.

I always approve of more variance in eye colours, natural colours like browns, greys, blues and greens, more striking colours like purples, yellows, cyans, reds.

In light and dark, as well as pale and vibrant versions.

I liked the change in DA2, especially as I always adore bright, vivid eye colours. But I though it was a tad overwhelming to see so many people all of whom had almost glowing vivid eyes. And While all the options should be available to the players (in my opinion at least), I think it would help if most people populating the world had the vibrancy toned down to more natural and/or pale levels.

It would be cool, if perhaps a bit too restrictive and time-consuming to do, if the various races had different colour spectra to their eyes. e.g. dwarves have mostly dark browns and hard greys, humans having mostly comparatively pale hues of brown, blue grey and green, elves having mostly vibrant cool (as in opposed to warm) colours like blues, greens and purples, and qunari having some of the warmer spectrum like browns oranges and reds.

Of course that should be mostly as a generalisation and there would of course be some individuals of each race which differ.

I am not sure if the player character should be somewhat constrained to their race's normal colours or be a special snowflake with a completely free eye-colour choice in that regard.

It would help the elves look a bit more alien. Same with the qunari (I am remembering right that Sten had purple eyes, right?)

Jethann had purple eyes.

Personally, I hope that Qunari will have the option to have the same kind of eyes they did in DA2 in addition to the ones featured on the BioWare Blog a while back.

I prefer the more alien eyes of DA2. They're even mentioned in the Codex entry.

The race we call "Qunari" are formidable. Nature has given them fierce horns and strange eyes, and the ignorant look on them and see monsters.
