I'm a big fan of Arrow and I'm really looking forward to the new series. I just hope it'll live up to the standard set by Arrow.

Where did you find that pic? Up until now I've only ever seen the teaser pic.

On one had I'm really looking forward to the "Flash" tv series. On the other hand I am concerned that the fact that the Flash has super powers will make it harder to tell stories that are grounded in reality and as such it may alienate casual viewers who don't read comics or are not familiar with the comic book character at all. That full pic of Barry Allen in his suit, I'm not saying I don't like it ( truth be told I'm conflicted about it ) but I certainly does stand out more than Oliver Queens Vigelante/Hood/Arrow/Green Arrow get up.

Its too wine coloured, it also looks a little weird, I kinda wish they had done something like they did with impulse in Smallville.

It's the mask/helmet thing that's makes the whole entire get up look odd to me. It looked amazing in the teaser pic but in the second pic it just doesn't look quite right. The rest of costume looks alright to me.

Still looking forward to the show although as I said before, the fact that the Flash has super powers means that the bad guys he is up against are going to need something extra to level the playing field ( more than likely powers of their own ), it will be very easy for things to escalate from there.

Wow, really don't like that suit. Always thought 90s flash did a good job on the suit, except for that fact that he couldn't turn his head. Based on that I was really thinking the new suit would be awesome.

I like it so far, need to see it action before final verdict but if it offers more mobility for the actor that should really help out long term.  Plus they can always do modifications to the suit between the Pilot and the actual series if it gets green lit (they did that with Lois & Clark and even worked it into the show)

 

I do hope they do a better job with The Rogues this time as the 90's series this was there main weak point, few interesting villains and the ones that did show from the comics were altered too much such as Mirror Master becoming more of a hologram user and Captain Cold becoming an Albino (which is rather stereotyping)

We're going to see the Flash in episode 19 of Arrow, so I'm quite excited to see how they handle the character.

Costume needs a bit more gold in my opinion, but I'm hopefull.  The Flash has always been my favorite DC hero.

Didn't really like the suit at first glace, but the more I look at it the more I start the like it. Still think it's a bit too wine red, but the overall design feels grounded in reality while maintaining the feel of the comic suit.

We're going to see the Flash in episode 19 of Arrow, so I'm quite excited to see how they handle the character.

I knew episode 19 was a cross over episode but I did not realise we would be seeing Barry Allen in that episode, last I heard it was just an episode to introduce some of the "Flash" supporting cast. I would love to Barry Allen one more time on Arrow especially as Flash.

I'm surprised nobody has been talking about the new Flash series on here.

 

I didn't expect this show to exceed my expectations. A lot of that comes from the likability of Barry Allen as a character. I think this scene in the recent episode exemplifies what I mean:

I watched the first episode. I liked it better than I expected...not as much as Gotham tho.  I REALLY like Candice Patton as Iris. YUMMY! And was very happy to see Jesse Martin in the show. He is an "A" lister IMO.

The father/son talk was a little too heavy handed for me, but overall a solid show. I am really hoping "red streak" doesn't stick.... that's a terrible name.

It should be "The Blur".

...Oh wait...that was stupid when Smallville did it.

 

Anyone remember Smallville? Goddamn that show went on for too goddamn long, and you never even saw Tom Welling in the Superman Suit ever. Even if you squint really hard at the series Finale.

 

Anyway, Pilot was ok. I've yet to watch Episode 2 but I got it recorded so I'll watch tomorrow.

The problem is how could they found a good actor who was that muscly!

And... there is too many red-suit superheroes around. Maybe the violette suit works this time.

Just watched it for the first time. The third episode I think, I kinda liked it. One thing makes me feel weird, & spoilers....

he let that guy fall to his death, didn't he? The Flash could have made it down & caught him, but he just stood there & let him fall & acted all sad like he could'nt of saved him. I was expecting him to run down there, instead I got almost feels like murder awkwardness.
