I could not pull out my missile launcher! I could use Thermal Clip Packs, Gels, Ops packs but not launcher. My less than spectacular squad mates apparently didn't have any to use so I was stuck staring at my 6 missiles wishing I could use them instead of going through 6 ops packs and 3 gels in 2 waves with my very squishy Human Engineer. Has anyone had this happen before? What caused this? What can I do to prevent this from happening again?

Have you tried to:

1) heavy melee

2) light melee

3) take cover?

Was it an extremely laggy game? It sounded like a package lost caused by lag.

I had a game that wouldn't let me pull my secondary out.

Yea I did those but why would they matter? I could use everything but the damn launcher, I couldn't even equip it. The next game I could use everything just fine, it was just that one game, it was like I didn't even have a Missile Launcher. I thought my controller was broke and made a game just to see if I could equip it and was able too.

No there wasn't any lag that I could notice.

Because when the bug you described happens to me I'm usually able to switch to the cobra again after doing one of those actions, I'm not sure why or which action in particular, but I know that trying different things like heavy melee, light melee, take cover, take cover and melee out of it or climb a ladder would fix that.

But your bug could not be the same, of course.

Yea sounds like your describing shield boost lock from the Volus or something similar. I could use powers, guns, cover and everything else just fine except equipping the launcher. It was just wierd. I guess I'll chalk it up to space magic!

I'm not talking about the volus glitch, you can fix that with a simple heavy melee (except for the jugg and the volus).

I'm talking about the impossibility to switch weapons and use the rocket launcher (which counts as a weapon), when it happened to me, by chance I had a secondary gun, and I couldn't switch to it too, I fixed that doing everything I could, but I don't remember exactly what fixed that.

After that time it happened to me again (in another game), and again I was able to fix the problem by doing something, but again I couldn't tell what because I tried everything I could.

Maybe I'm describing a different bug with similar symptoms.

I got to Wave 10 a few days ago, no problems whatsoever.  I picked up a Pizza and for the rest of the game nothing worked, no powers, no guns, no heavy melee.  All I could do was run and hide

Ugh.  I had that once (no volus on the team at all).  Even death didn't fix it.  All I could do for the remaining 5 waves was revive and light melee.  At least I was playing a melee specced character so I did some damage.

I've had this too twice on Jade and FBW, and they were Geth games, so I couldn't rage nuke. Sad times.

Happened to me twice, both times on Reactor Hazard. I remember, each time I had a lag spike at the beginnig of the game, but overall the game was not laggy. The only thing you can do is just quit...
