Thank you, Julia. Naleena is quite the lovely gal, herself. Badasses make my world go round.

I do agree with Zephyr on this, just for the fact that Adelaide will be forced to wear the clunky armor. If she has to, everyone has to. ;)

Thank you. Up until Fan Fiction, the bad ass Asari was Aria. That was it. I have given them Naleena.

Now Goddess I can hear the squad banter between Adelaide and Naleena.

Maybe Mass Effect fields held them together?

@Julia Gurl, they will be glorious! Ohmygod, Deidrus will want to tear his mandibles off. xD But that's what he gets for forcing us to wear that hideous armor!

@Redbelle Where would they be generated from, tho? :0 Like, if from something on the armor, I'd say that's too risky. If it malfunctions, well, you're screwed.

Yeah..... When it comes to the soldiers I see it as the armour's underlay suit that is the seal for holding in atmosphere and heat.

Biotics, maybe they can generate a low level field to hold atmosphere. Not indefinitely..... just thinking of ME2 when they moved away from helmets and went with character models that just had breather masks. ala Miranda and Samara.

Tech users..... probably a mass effect field generator since Mordin could go around without a hard suit.

This being ME the players could probably come up with their own ideas on how to do this that fit with their characters. As long as it's just something to survive exposure and provide an atmosphere it should be okay.

You could probably apply quite a bit of pressure in order to air in order to increase the pressure but compressing that much air is actually surprisingly difficult. One atmosphere, or ~101.3 kilopascals means that the amount of air pressure on your head as around one metric tonne. That's not a flat amount of weight it's pressure, air being pushed down on it, meaning that you'd need to take a lot of air and then apply a huuuuuuge biotic force in order to keep that air at the right pressure.

Even if you could do that, the characters are not glowing blue which is the telltale sign of an ME field.

Furthermore, even if you could the exposure to space would still be dangerous because of the solar radiation that'd be colliding with bodies would mean a sunburn straight from hell and guaranteed skin damage and a much higher chance for a skin cancer down the road. You could have a single atmosphere of pressure but there would not be enough air to actually diffuse the UV radiation.

Now with all that there I don't actually care that much :P If you can find a way of applying enough pressure to apply a tonne of pressure per ten centimeters of surface area of your chars body to keep the air at the right pressure, and then find a way to deal with the exposure to UV and other EMR your char could go out in a bikini for all I care. Deidrus might think you're an idiot though.

Character Name: John E. Murphy

Species: Human

Sex:  Male

Age: 30

Occupation: Combat Engineer, currently working as a Mercenary.

Biotic: No

Weapons Carried: Carnifax pistol, Exotic explosives, Combat knife.

Ammunition Type: Tungsten ammo

Combat abilities: Uses his gun(Currently a Carnifax pistol) in combat, skilled at close range shooting, decent at mid-range and ineffective at long ranges. Able to handle himself in melee combat. Has no powers.

Basic Appearance:  Caucasian, blue eyes, short black hair, 6ft 2, light beard, small scar on his right cheek.

Armour Appearance: Armour colour is a dark grey, wears a combat helmet that has been reinforced with additional metal plates, balaclava covering the face and neck, has full chest armour, wrist armour and shin armour. Wears a black BDU underneath. Carries a modified gearbag to hold his equipment in combat.

Personality:  Likes to joke about everything, dislike of military officers, untrusting of aliens, strong hatred towards Eclipse mercs, largely ignorant of galactic culture.

Brief History:  Born in Ireland on Earth, John was a loner when he was young, focused almost entirely on his education. He came to the attention of Alliance recruiters after he scored A1s in Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Applied maths in his leaving cert. Having been exposed to plenty of Alliance propaganda, he had a romanticized view of them and eagerly joined, much to the dismay of his parents. John's skillset and education landed him in the Alliance engineering corps, where he learned all about field construction, vehicle maintenance and most importantly, demolition.

The job came naturally to John and he performed his job with distinction. However, over the course of his career, he frequently was noted for conflicts with his superior officers. It all came to a close when John finally struck an officer and held him at gunpoint, for giving his squad "Suicidal" orders against minor pirates. John had managed to take what little he had and flee to the terminus systems. Initially trying to settle on an outer colony, John felt he was too young to settle down and left, winding up in Omega. It was there where he found work. First as a courier, then as a mercenary. He made a reputation as the person to go to when something needed to go 'boom'.

This had it's benefits, as well as the draw backs. After a failed attempt on his life, as well as killing his pet dog, by Eclipse mercs, John swore he'd have his payback.

He did get his payback, by blowing up a docked eclipse freighter, taking out the crew, contraband and a high-ranking member of the organisation. He's currently gone into hiding on Omega after the attack. But he's still available...for the right price.

Other Notes:

Skilled with planting and disarming bombs, as well as making homemade explosives.

Handy with a toolbelt.

Good shot at close range, hopeless at long ranges.

Terrible in zero gravity environments.

Always wears his helmet when others are around.

This is the first ME character I've created, so I'd like feedback as to what I did right and what needs to be changed.

Alright, I'll do a little bit of critique and explanation...

First of all, Mercs that are fairly cut and dry like this (not to say they're bad per se, but fit a standard model) are pretty hard to fault. Most the time what you find in MERPs is are crazy over-powered biotics or super ninjas. Beyond those two there are usually few ways to point out things are wrong. That being said I would like it if you would supply the weapons and powers your character will use, those generally give a better idea of what your character will be able to do in combat. Also, weapons would be nice. Enforcing a weight penalty isn't in the cards, it's just making sure you won't be packing a Widow, Claymore and Typhoon at the same time :P Your char can pick up weapons later of course.

Generally powers like Stasis, Reave, Phase Disrupter, or anything that hits instantly is seen as a bit uncouth if you are PVPing in RPs (which never goes well IMMHO) because there is nothing they can do to avoid it and they have to take the hit.

Arghhh. I cannae take it anymore! I've gotta add a character to this!!!

Character Name: Jessica Babylon (goes under Jes Stone)

Species:Human

Sex:  Female

Age: 28

Occupation: Pirate Captain, engineer/pilot.

Biotic: No

Biotic Powers: N/A

Powers: Sabotage, Fitness, Decoy, Overload

Weapons Carried: Executioner +Pistol Ultralightweight +scope

Omni electro punch.

Mark 14 systems alliance grenade modified for flashbang. (ME1)

Graal spike thrower, stipped back version, embedded in her bionic arm

Weapons Owned:  As above

Ammunition Type: N/A

Basic Appearance:  African American with reddish brown hair. Playful smile. Stocky build, average height. Wear's a armless shimmering semi transparent green skin tight skin suit that gives off an effect to hide her from electronic detection when active. Mismatched eyes. Has a set of armour that for some reason she does not disclose, is a bee stripped yellow and black.

Personality:  Flambouyant, Exhibionist tendency (that will be made SFW by the way), Sensual. When in command will strike any who questions her authority.

Brief History:  Born on Earth. Eldest out of one sister and Youngest brother. Studied medicine before switching to robotics. An incident involving a Spectre and his quarry resulted in the death of the brother. Jessica became estranged from family after learning that the Spectre would not be prosecuted for brothers death and drifted apart. Began leaning towards mercenaries and learning how to fight from them in order to extract vengence.

A mercenary group she was hanging around became the target of a pirate group in a retaliation strike. Jessica was badly hurt in the crossfire. The captain learned she was uninvolved and took her to the Terminus systems to rebuild the parts of her body that had been damaged or destroyed.

After her treatment and many subsequent treatments after, she stayed with the pirates and eventually grew to become the captains bodyguard till one day he left her behind on a meeting and died to betrayal of the other party.

Jessica, on learning this, pursued the other party and destroyed them. Earning her some respect of the crew. When the crew decided to elect another captain, Jessica and the first mate were picked for the role. Jessica seduced the first mate and then next morning, challenged him to a fight to the death, winner would take the captaincy. Seeing how far she would go, with her advanced combat skills and body and seemingly few moral qualms, the captaincy was granted to Jessica who took the name Jess Stone to protect her family.

Other Notes:  Previous life threatening injuries led to Jessica being partially reconstructed to replace her right arm and right eye after being caught in a fire fight. Though numerous subsequent surgerys have left her looking and feeling to the touch, human, her right eye is silver while the other is her natural brown.

A smaller, stripped back version of a Grall spike thrower is embedded in her right arm. On demand, Jessica can cause her arm to fly open, revealing the intricacies of her robotic arm and fire the spike thrower. The thrower uses her omni tool, (located in right arm) fabricator mass storage to reload the thrower, though this process takes time. In addition, her eye allows her to see in other spectrums while accessing network accesible information.

Jessica is a pirate captain who has a light grip on discipline, but will strike anyone who crosses the line with little to no warning.

Flirtatious, she tends to revel in the organised chaos that is her crew and has, seemingly, established a near worshipful rapport with those under her.

Jessica has inherited the previous captain's lists of contacts and bolt holes scattered across the galaxy.

Jessica has killed the Spectre who was responsible for her brothers death and worries that one day, the Spectres might discover it was her who did it.

Jessica's life was vastly molded by the model of Spectres working outside the law to get things done.

Known as Silver in the lawless community and tall tales include, fearing the right hand of Silver.

Much about her is unknown to the wider galactic community, lost in tall tales and mystery.

Elder sister to Amy Bablyon who works as a freelance election consultant for the Terra Firma party.

Flies the galaxy in her modified cargo ship, The Medusa. Has a fleet network of ships that are registered legitamately to offload laundered goods.

Crew compliment is made up of screwups who made good with the one chance Jessica offered them. Those who did not live up to her expectations were washed out of the crew and dumped on inhabited worlds where they could go anywhere else.

Don't change her to much on Jessie's account. One of the reasons I tend to give my character's stuff is so I can take it away from them later.

Also, Jess would probably enjoy sharing with someone who has an appreciation of the finer things in life. She thinks she's not going to run out anytime soon so she can afford to be generous. :)

If only she knew..... Mwahahah!!!

Added powers to her.

For now I've added Sabotage, Fitness, Decoy, Overload to reflect her more hands off stage of life where she has others to do the heavy lifting.

Since she was a body guard it's fair to say she knows how to use more offensive based powers, but she currently is not equipped for any of that.

Looking at the character, she's kinda vunerable to rush tactics from numerous foes. If she's caught out of her comfort zone long enough she'll start to rethink her loadout and strat from punishing one shot one kill's to something that suppresses without huge explosions being involved.

Jess is currently equipped for one on one duals while favoring melee combat.

Honestly, it was a lot of other reasons too. It was just the similarities (Similar ages, appearance, class, role as mercs, skillset, weapons used) that spurred me to action, haha. But I can't say it was the only reason. I kinda want to have a younger character among us. And the role of playing a char with a Beyonce face claim lost its charm quick so make her my second choice, Asian! (Korean, to be specific) She's still her fabulous self, doeee. ^.^

I feel like they will become fast friends or bitter enemies xD

Jess is turning out to be a bit of a brawler so I'm looking into giving her a martial prowess. Also, I think friends or enemies is right on there. Though as Jess goes through her arc it'll be interesting to see how Adelaide reacts to seeing Jess go through her trials.

Hm... I don't think fitness is generally considered a power. As it is a passive which exists in ME for the sake of putting numbers on health and melee damage when things like that are going to be really subjective to how you fight/shield strength from tech. If you want it to just say that she's more durable that works though.

Also, plz no fighting in war room. Thanks. >:D

Character Name: Kavadar Vayne

Species: Krogan

Sex: Male

Age: 506, (Birth date March 29, 1680)

Occupation: Bounty Hunter and Private Security Operative

Biotic: No

Tech: No

Powers: Flamer, Ballistic Blades, Inferno Grenades, Multi-Frag Grenades

Weapons Carried: Chakam Launcher, Krogan Dagger. (New Aquisitions: Bakara Shotgun, N7 Eagle Pistol, 8 gauge double barrel elephant shotgun))

Weapons Owned: While not a arms collector per say, Vayne collects more personally significant weapons as a form of mementos. Striker Assault rifle, Gaarl Spike Thrower(Both older models, framed, functionality questionable), Thunder weapon set(Non-thermal clip, obsolete, collectors item), M-12 Locust(War Trophy), Claymore Shotgun(Non-functional, Entire side of gun melted, obvious trauma sustained), M-451 Firestorm(Still works), Krogan Warhammer(Cracked head).

Ammunition Type: Hammerhead rounds preferred.

Armor: Vayne's armor is a heavier set suit, designed more for battlemasters then it is for normal krogan soldiers. It's red in color, with metallic as well as ceramic parts present to give it a larger amount of protection. It is capable of greater environmental protection, being graded for zero atmosphere environments and high atmosphere areas such as Irune, or even deep sea areas. The armor also possesses its own atmospheric cycling system, allowing its wearer to have a sustainable air supply for an extended period of time, rated for a maximum of 5 days before the atmosphere within the suit becomes to polluted to be recycled and further filtered. The red armor also contains within the back area, along the hump a mass effect generator, capable of increasing or decreasing the mass of its wearer accordingly, similar to ones seen on many densing competitors, it allows for a massive increase in physical strength, or a boost in speed and agility, depending on how the generator is calibrated using the omnitool. Most surprising and unusual is its possession of 4 magnetic locks, on both the hands and the knees, which can be activated via an omnitool and essentially allow for its wearer to cling to magnetic surfaces with greater ease, even in gravitationally affected areas, and gives them the ability to scale such areas at a whim. According to Vayne, the suit was won from a card game on omega, whether there is truth to the claim or not can be contested, but it is clear that whoever owned the suit of armor before vayne did, had a eye for both detail and modification.

RedKroganArmor_zps1dc948fb.png

Basic Appearance: Vayne is a krogan on the short side, standing at 6'11, with a tall hump and a medium sized dark red headplate. He has a wide chest and shoulders, and has put on a bit of weight in recent years, though still keeps in moderately good shape thanks to a good diet and exercise program his physician prescribed. His skin is a deep orange brown color, covered with large and pronounced scales and rough with sun damage from his youth. He has only one yellow-orange eye, his right eye missing and the area around it roughly healed over from his attempted assassination, with a lack of scales and lighter toned pockmarked skin, along with no eye hole visible any longer, having healed over from how badly the shotgun blast tore into his face. He's an older looking example of his species, with wrinkles and a few black spots evident on his neck and around his eyes, but he also has laugh lines visible on one side of his mouth, despite the fact that a lot of the time, he frowns much more then he smiles.

KhelObservation_zps6e09c57d.jpg
Personality: Vayne is a talkative but tight lipped fellow, willing to crack a joke or speak his mind on a subject whenever he is able, but won't let any information he doesn't want you knowing slip out. He enjoys getting to know who he's working with, though not always for the noblest of purposes, and enjoys keeping a "Client Confidentiality" policy, often due to working with more then one party at a time with usually conflicting interest. Vayne also does not like to talk about his past, due to his rather infamous reputation as a merciless and extremely violent pirate, and will never discuss his family unless on his own terms. One of the few personal details of his life he is willing to let slip is his enjoyment of incendiaries and explosives, being something of a self taught demolition expert, and how he used his knowledge well during his previous and current careers. While he maintains a pleasant, professional, and courteous persona for most to see, Vayne actually possesses something of a nihilistic and bleak view on life and the future, seeing most pursuits in life as being devoid of meaning or meaningfulness outside of distracting ourselves from inevitability. However, rather then find sorrow in this revelation, Vayne instead takes joy in the smaller things in life, having an outlook that if most things are meaningless, then there isn't harm in having something you enjoy, no matter how foolish it may seem, as it holds just as much meaning as any larger and more moralistic pursuit. Vayne however is not about senseless pursuits of happiness and debauchery, and views order as an important aspect to life, that without at least some order and restriction in life, there is no enjoyment that can be found in juxtaposition to the unpleasant. Vayne distrusts most people, and rarely trusts them enough to really get a look at what he is like, or to know things that could be used against him, but is willing to put aside differences for the sake of making some credits, or survival. While he holds little sympathy for his fellow mercenaries or even his fellow krogan, viewing a lot of them as simply opportunistic or short sighted, say for a few exceptions, he does hold some sympathy for the quarians, out of all races, due to their need to have an environmentally sealed suit to survive and long standing time as exiles, finding something of common ground with that notion. Mostly however, Vayne is a loner, willing to put aside differences but never willing to fully join a group and put its goals above his own, a path that has led him to be very conflicted with others, and with himself.

Brief History: Kavadar Vayne was born into what some would consider royalty of the krogan. Clan Kavadir rose to fame on the ashes of several other, smaller clans during the rachni war, where they were acting as a subordinate clan to the much larger Clan Jurdon. Clan Jurdon was in charge of the campaign to eliminate the rachni from the planet Gellix, and had streched from a simple few day bombardment into a full ground and air war lasting 2 months. It is in this climate of desperation and frustration that Kavadir Raam, acting as krantt of krogan admiral Jurdon Gaal, killed jurdon and took command of the fleet and lesser clans to rally around his new strategy. Raam set up a decoy vessel, a cruiser filled with the dead and the dying members of their fight force, and enough ordnance to blow up several large dreadnoughts, and sent it in a low orbit on the planets surface, where the rachni shot it down and began swarming to scavenge for supplies, a strategy that made recovering lost crews impossible. The ships payload detonated, creating a massive creator so large that it actually opened the land for the planets ocean to begin flooding inland, flooding out the rachni's tunnels and severely weakening their stronghold position.

Thus Clan Kavadar assured victory over the rachni, even being granted dominion over the planet Gellix after it was rewarded to the krogan as war spoils. After killing the jurdon's warriors who came to claim revenge on his head, Raam began to focus on ship construction and heavy ordnance, believing the legacy of the krogan would need to be secured with strong warriors wielding the best ships and weapons they could have. Soon Clan Kavadar became known for their weapon and engineering skills, famed especially for their invention of new chemical explosives capable of melting the ceramic armor and flesh of modern body armor and bypass the kinetic barriers present. Their fame was short lived however as the krogan rebellion came and went shiftily, resulting in many formerly powerful clans, including Clan Kavadar, to lose everything they had built to the turians and council races. Forced into exile and still hunted by Clan Jurdon, the clan migrated to Wrill, a harsh planet where even the krogan had to wear protective environmental suits to survive.

Kavadar Vayne was born on this hellhole, centuries after the krogan rebellions, living almost all of his life encased in a suit, one of only 14 brothers and sisters thanks to the genophage. His father, Kavadar Wrech, was a drunkard who cared more about getting another shipment of rynacol then he did caring for his wife and children. His mother taught him all he knew in the first 30 years of his life, until she came was ambushed by a pack of vorcha one night and eaten by the scavenging creatures. Vayne and his siblings made sure to kill every one of them, while his father was too drunk to even so much as notice. For the next few years, Vayne worked with his father on their scavenging runs, collecting whatever valuables they could from the planets various ship wrecks, or hunting whatever life managed to survive the oppressive heat and methane-ethane atmosphere to sell. It was a horrid existence, and one that Vayne and Wrech both hated, instead longing for the time they might find a working space vessel and leave this rocky hell. Wrech always spoke about big adventures and vasts fortunes when he would finally get enough credits to either buy or steal a ship, and did so all the way up to his death, ****** drunk and face first in a pond of boiling water.

For Vayne, this was the last and final straw, and with nothing but a old spike thrower and whatever credits his father had saved up, set out to find a ship and escape this place. As it so happened, Vayne didn't need to wait long, as a ship touched down on the planet belonging to the blood pack, apparently looking for new recruits to join their mercenary organization, mostly vorcha's though a few krogan were allowed. Vayne got in touch with the rest of his family on planet, informing them of what his plan was and asking for aid. All of his 14 siblings agreed to help, and all approached, pretending to be interested in joining the blood pack, simply waiting to be allowed close enough to the vessel, before boarding it and butchering it and the crew. Vaynes older brothers, Grum with his warhammer and Krill with his shotgun, managed to taken out more krogan then any of them, earning them a spot of command of their clan. With their new vessel they flew off one of the only destinations they could think of, the krogan homeworld of tuchanka. There however they found a situation much like wrill, though an atmosphere they could actually stand to breath without masks for once. Disheartened, the kavadar clan members set out instead to find a life more befitting their dreams of grandeur and vice, and thus discovered a larger craze during that time period of the 1700's, piracy.

Their clan raided, plundered, and pillaged throughout the borders of the terminus system for years, managing to buy better ships then their original frigate to a fleet of 3 crusiers, Vayne, Grum, and Krill each commanding their own ship with a crew of not just krogan, but vorcha, batarians, quarians, and even a few turians and asari who decided the life on the open space was better then life in a colony, shackled to their laws and rules. Kavadar settled on the small world of Nassau, a colony on the very edges of the galactic map, deep within the attican traverse. The world had been settled by batarians, who lost it to the pirate criminals who had turned into a meca for all those who opposed the law and order of council space. "Little Omega" it was called, for that was the only place more lawless and dangerous then Nassau, and for almost a century and a half, Kavadar Vayne found a home he wanted, with all the luxury he could ask for. It was not to last however, as soon a new council came to power with and agenda to see the traverse secured under their control.

It began in 1900, just a few years after the quarians had fled their home world due to the geth rebellion. Many privateers, thinking themselves clever, tried to sneak into the region to scavenge what they thought would be unprotected resources from the veil, only to all wind up dead. Among them, Kavadar Krill, the fools ship drifting out from the veil weeks after he disappeared, the crew and himself dead, claymore still clutched to his chest with a massive plasma burnt hole in it, and himself. The council accused the pirates as being a threat to everyone, claiming that raids of the perseus veil and provoking of the geth were much more common place then they were, and that they needed to be stopped by both the council and terminus systems. Vayne himself had grown sick of the life of a pirate, the constant skirmishes and raids becoming a dull affair for the seasoned veteran, as was the constant debauchery around him. With thoughts of retirement in his mind, he set course for a final planned raid, even as the situation between the council space, terminus, and traverse, began to get more and more out of hand. The target was the asari colony of Talis Fia, a rich world with a booming economy through its shipping and mining, and it was one of these shipments, an eezo refinery shipment containing millions worth of credits in fuel, that they planned to steal.

However, when Vayne's ship and small fleet arrived, they found the planet to be much more heavily guarded then anticipated, including the presences of a turian carrier and some crusiers twice the size of vayne's own vessel. Seeing that this would be one opportunity they wouldn't manage to survive, vayne decided that it would be better to leave and find a less guarded shipment instead. His crew however did not agree, and vayne's second in command, a reckless batarian by the name of Kalecho Rha'Kam, took the opportunity to call a mutiny and shot vayne point blank in the face, blinding one of his eyes and leaving him open to be pounced upon, the crew he once trusted with his life turning on him at the prospect of a few credits. Beaten but alive, Vayne was taken to the brig of the ship, imprisoned while his crew decided to carry out the attack with plans to maroon their dearly deposed captain later, as to avoid retribution from his brother grum. They didn't get very far however, as the turian fleet opened fire on their vessel, damaging it so severely that those left of the crew, Kalecho included, had to flee in shuttles back to the mass relay, leaving vayne at the mercy of the turians.

Fortunately for him however, the turians didn't immediately recognize vayne as a notorious pirate, his dna never having been collected into their database and his now freshly disfigured face making it near impossible to match with his now out of date wanted poster. So Vayne did the only thing he could think of, he feigned being just an innocent muscle for a merchant the pirates had taken capture, managing to convince them enough that he was innocent to receive treatment and a small compensation, which vayne turned down in loo of not having earned the credits. Vayne was left without a crew, and as time went on it was assumed that Kavadar Vayne had simply died. Though for vayne, that simply wasn't good enough, for there was a certain batarian pirate he wanted to see captured for his crime. So vayne went from a pirate to a pirate hunter, and over the course of the next 3 years, managed to kill or capture a number of small time pirates, turning them into local authorities as a reward, having known all the old hideouts during his time among them and getting closer and closer to Kalecho Rha'kam's newest hideout in the traverse. Soon Vayne began to gain a new reputation, as a respectable, if a little rough around the edges, krogan bounty hunter and gun for hire. Even managing to get hired on as extra security for the colony of Daleon, though left once his contract was up. Eventually he tracked Rha'kam down with his vessel docked in omega, drunk off his ass stumbling out of purgatory and his crew needing to drag him out of danger and to their ship, Vayne close behind them.

Vayne managed to take on Rha'kam's crew in the docking bay, managing to capture the batarian and hi-jack one of their smaller Corvette's to take his new prisoner back to citadel space, fighting through multiple gunshot wounds thanks to his redundant nerve system and back up organs. Bleeding and battered, he high tailed it out of the terminus system to one of the first council space worlds he could come across, a turian colony where rha'kam happened to have a significant bounty on his head for raiding there once before. Rha'kam was sentenced to death rather quickly by the turians, and vayne was treated for injuries and held by the turians for some time while they verified payment for rha'kam's capture. However, what vayne had not known was that the turians were investigating rha'kam's claims that he was simply following the orders of his former captain, Kavadar Vayne, an allegation the turians took seriously. If not for the intervention of a turian spectre, vayne would have been executed along with rha'kam, but as it turned out, the council was in need of someone like vayne. The council's war on piracy had escalated to new levels with new initiatives designed to put a dent in their rampant operations. It had gotten to the point that the council was willing to offer pardons for pirates who would like to retire, and protection from the law as long as they would not turn against council space again. Vayne was given a choice, take the pardon and work with the council, or don't and be put to death as a pirate.

Vayne, with little choice and not a lot left to live for, accepted the pardon, working under the turian spectre to clear out the pirates that plagued council space. The great age of piracy that had lasted nearly 200 years came to a swift end when the pirates began to defect to the councils side. Coming from either expelled crew men or mutinied captains, or those willing to turn themselves in, their information and grudges against their former kin allowed the council to swiftly crush their many fortresses and colonies in the traverse, culminating in the bombing of nassau and the loss of the final stronghold of pirates. While there would be many pirates to rise and fall again after, none would reach the heights they did before the 2000's came, the council now more secured then it had been in some time. Kavadar Vayne was left to his own devices, only a small amount of the vast fortune he'd left hidden on nassau's remote third moon surviving the bombing, and had not been pilfered by Rha'kam during his stint as captain. Vayne, true to his word, never returned to piracy, slipping instead into legitimate bounty hunting and security work.

Now days Vayne maintains a long standing residence on illium, where there are plenty of security contracts for vayne to accept. Though vayne has been known to aid many clients within council space with business relating to the terminus system, and has been known as a dependable ally to spectres during their investigations. As such, he is known as one of the few trustworthy mercs operating at all, a reputation that has earned him both praise and scorn equally.

Vayne is skilled in the art of combat, a seasoned veteran of more then a fair share of major conflicts. Among his knowledge of fire arms and explosives, comes a wealth of information on the seedier side of things, with lots of insider and first hand experience in dealing with the shady underbelly of the terminus system. Vayne is surprisingly good with his hands when it comes to medical treatment, possessing a precision and control needed to keep a fellow alive, along with being verse in more then a few alien physiologists, for both helping and hurting when necessary. He is also versed in mechanical skills, learning how to preform basic repairs on ships, vehicles, guns, armors, and how to jury-rig a few useful items from scratch.Vayne is an over all skilled person, but his main sector of expertise lie in demolitions and explosives, having used them as something of a staple during his run as leader of the Red Rangers. Whether it's to stun a room or bring a dreadnought crashing and imploding on itself, Vayne knows the places to plant and exactly what amounts to get the desired results.

Vayne however is not an invincible krogan by any means, having a major weakness in the fact that he only has one eye, thanks to a failed assassination attempt by his mutinous crew. His peripheral vision has been severely cut down, not to mention his depth perception, and while he has learned to compensate for this over time, he still has trouble doing so for far off objects and backgrounds. This makes long ranged combat for him something of a challenge, and while scopes give readouts for target distances, he is far off from being an accurate sniper anytime soon. Vayne is also what is considered to be middle aged for a krogan, and while he is by no means a lethargic old man, he is still not as fast as his younger krogan, though still plenty strong. His hump and size makes taking cover difficult for vayne, though not totally impossible, and popping in and out of cover is a bit of a challenge. Vaynes strongest weakness comes from his lack of actual training and what he has to offer. Vayne lacks any biotic powers, unlike most krogan battlemasters, and he has little training in the use of tech to compensate for this. Meaning that all Vayne has to rely on is his normal run of the mill equipment and programing for his omnitool, a weakness vayne has compensated for by getting as strong an armor as he could, and loading up on enough grenades to blow half of omega sky high, figuratively speaking.

Bro, there are a few things missing for your character. Are you going to come back later or...?
