Answer the questions Toni has and I think we're good. If he isn't connected to a military I don't think the Council would have a dossier on him and we would need to effectively run into the group. We're on our way to Omega shortly so if he's there, that makes things easier all around.

This one is on Omega.... I'll come up with more details later.
Code name: Snowman
Trade: Assassin
Alignment: Shadow Broker (SB - 4 cell)
Level: Agent
Biotic ability: powerful
Biotic Bonus Power: Hardened Barrier
Tech abilities: none
Assassination tools: Ice pick, blades
Covers: Is used to being on long term deep cover assignments.
Other: Has been an agent for the Shadow Broker for 25 years. Has been skimming off the top when funneling money to the broker for years and has built up sizable bank accounts that are scattered around the galaxy. The funds have been laundered several times and are so off the grid that they completely escaped the broker's attention.... both brokers. Neither of them saw any irregularities in the books.
An assassin known only as "The Snowman" has periodically surfaced for clusters of kills, and then goes dark. While it is suspected that the assassin is female, this has not been confirmed since no one has survived to confirm it. The assassin gets their nickname from the use of their trademark weapon: the ice pick driven into the base of the skull.

Curious: would you guys accept and Prothean and/or a Yahg?
Realization: I just sounded like an Elcor.

Pardon me, because my search-fu or memory could be totally wrong (it has been known to happen) but I thought I read somewhere that for Chasing Spectres, Protheans were off the table. Yahg maybe might not have been mentioned. Zephyr is the 'head spectre' so I'd ask him.

Badassfully, Elcor may be your species.
With fear, I hope the spittle monsters are off the table.

Amused: It would be interesting to see GLADOS in a ME setting. EDI has met her match.
Curious: Could I play an Elcor fighter, like this? Envious: This is great artwork

In general the rules are 'No Protheans, No Leviathans, No Reapers, No Collectors, no Custom Races' (the last is more pre-ME3). RPs that have PC any of those tend to go sideways very quickly because of the technology associated with them and the 'blank spots' in their histories. It's easier to just say no to the four of them and keep to what we have.
That's just me though, if someone else is running and RP they can change that rule for that RP. As it is for Chasing Spectres I'm going to say all Sentient Races barring the five mentioned and Geth are off the table. AIs can be side characters associated with yours but please don't go crazy.
Elcor work, but you're going to need to find a use for them. For Yagh you'd better have a good reason for your Yagh being out in the open when every slaver here to the Nimean Abyss would want to sell your head for a pretty penny.

For the record, if the writer felt comfortable, not every character has to be a gunslinger. Joker is of course an example of that kind of person. A volus isn't exactly a specimen of physical prowess, but could have a lot of uses and be very entertaining as a character. I could see an Elcor in the same light. And yes, while it wouldn't be standard fare to watch an Elcor pulling an Avenger out quick draw style, you get us on an open field, and in danger, and the right equipment, hell, you have a new lumbering Mako cannon
. Also inside an enclosed space, I wouldn't want to be charged by an Elcor. Could end up as goo against the wall pretty quickly. Like large earth mammals, they aren't exactly defenseless....

If we had a Volus Biotic god, the Elcor could be the mount, of the Biotic god.
Or he could be the pilot. We just need to modify the control's so it look more like a dance mat for two people

Not everyone needs to be a gunslinger, agreed, I just meant that as in 'he should have a reason for being on the Audron'. Eloquent speaker is generally a somewhat airy reason but I accept most ![]()

Sad: Thats why the Elcors will never be in the council, lack of agility... ![]()
Anyway, they should be strong at melee when Aria have one as a bouncer.

Pyjak character anyone?
We could do a next cycle rpg. Where Shepard picks refuse, and the evolution of Pyjaks, Varren, klixen, and uh, Thresher Maws will form the foundation of the character species we can choose from!

Naleena survives in a pod and the evolved pyjak and varren find her. "Pyjak, Varren, Klixen. I am surrounded by primitives."
"In my cycle, we used to keep your kind as pets. You made excellent guards, and the Krogan would serve varren kebobs."
"In my cycle, pyjaks were pests, though some people thought they were cute. They would steal food."
"In my cycle, klixen were just vermin. The reapers used the queens for air support. You breathed fire. Now you just fart a lot."

So this thread is just a general character thread? It's not solely for characters in one RP, right?

It turned into characters for one RP because that is the only one going on at the moment. I put up another one and have gotten no love on it so far. If you put up an rpg, I'm sure you could do whichever is convenient...make your own thread for characters or use this one.

'Grand theft starship'
I like it!
I dunno how he'd feel on a ship in a new environment but... Since there is going to be conflict with the Collectors soon I think it would be useful to have your Vorcha be in the 'wrong place-wrong time' so that his burning skills may show. Or his dodging skills running through a swarm of collectors, so on.
I think he's good to go!

I should point out that according to codex Vorcha are highly evolved planaria (flatworms).
Thus they have organs of both sexes becoming what is needed to procreate. There are no secondary sexual differences between them. They lay eggs and fertilize them. They can also reproduce asexually - this means that if one loses a leg in combat by having it sliced off but not cauterized, the leg will, if properly fed, eventually grow into a new vorcha.
This is why their homeworld has so many vorcha.
I should also point out that everytime a vorcha is revived in combat and screams "I LIVE" a kitten dies.
