guess you missed that part where Tali is but a single individual amongst an entire race of people. All Quarians must look just like that photoshopped Google image of Tali in your own little la la land. Have fun with that....Sorry, but that response was akin to putting your fingers in your ears and going "La, la, la, la, la I can't hear you. It doesn't matter HOW it was rendered; it was depicted in the game, ergo: that's what Tali looks like. Did BioWare cheap out on the rendering? Yep. Do an awful lot of us wish they hadn't (myself included)? Yep. Did they show us what Tali looks like? You bet.
how do you think tali should have looked like

In game depictions of the Quarians also vary somewhat. For comparison:

How so?
Well, you get people saying how Tali should look like a repulsive booger that obviously like Miranda and just want to ****** off Talimancers while the Talimancers want Tali to be a supermodel and the Mirimancers don't want this because they fell Miranda is far more superior to Tali but Talimancers feel that Tali is far more superior to Miranda.

'somewhat'
Its not radically different to be sure, but the Quarian in the Synthesis slide has a more alien skintone than Tali.

It makes sense that they would have varying skin tones doesn't it? Humans and turians and asari do. Unless I'm missing something from the lore.

I'm not complaining.
I will say that if we see unmasked Quarians at all in future games I hope they look more like the Synthesis slide than Tali though. Tali looks far too human for my tastes. The less Star Trek aliens we have in the series, the better.

Related to that, I've also been seeing people say earlier that the way the quarians look is now canon. Well, yes and no. DA2 redesigned elf anatomy to differentiate them more from humans (more lanky, longer necks, different facial structure, etc) and the same could happen here. Nothing radical, though.
Edit: Also, look at how creative the BSN used to be: Tali's face joke thread
