Eteon will be around before the end of it probably since I'll try to put the entirety of the Ratman fight up in one go from start to finish.

Retaking the Medusa, Update:

ENGINEERING:  The beginning of Golt's takedown has definitely begun.  He's still got all that beef, and regeneration, and just blood rage insanity, but his chest is open from Vayne's shotgun, and his helmet is off.  He also has to contend with fending off people from the controls while fighting Vayne and most everyone.  But he is coming for the people at the controls.  Someone needs to stop him with a 'sacrifice play' whether that's Vayne going through the fire, Irina pulling something out, or someone else (Eteon is busy, so you know, not her)

THE BRIDGE:  Jess, someone is coming for you through wherever it is you are.  Go ahead and deal with them.  The rest of you, there are only two defenders left besides Iyana and Luscious.  The machine gunner is smart, and has a load of ammo without having to reload.  She's suppressing the hall with steady bursts that do not give time to move through, and she really doesn't need to see her target because anyone is exposed in the hall.  Think of all those movies like Saving Private Ryan or the equivalent, where assaulting a machine gun nest is just horrific if done head on.  Of course, you all have other resources.  But for the duration of the fight, she doesn't need to reload, and she's got that corridor filled with deadly projectiles.  

i've got a morgan part coming but it is short and needs no waiting.

Where should Engineering go from here?

You can decide but with wounded, I think it is too late to go join the fight on the bridge, not to mention communications are still jammed.  First aid, as Frank is doing is important, and as RB made note, the Medusa doesn't work right unless it has 8 people at least in place running it.  So Frank may also have his hands full running around, moving things.  He may also not be a shipboard engineer, is not a navigator as far as I know, so that's a pretty daunting task to keep the ship not only out of a collision course from engineering, but in some not insane or or otherwise deadly trajectory. 

 

Frank can do it with time to interract, but he will be challenged appropriately.  

 

I don't know how Vayne is, but he looks like he could use a trip to the medbay.  I forgot if a previous battle ruined his ability to regenerate but that would make it even more important. 

 

Irina is probably recoverable with proper treatment, and she will eventually need to get to a medbay.  Depending on SGJ's guidance.  

 

On having talked to Terca, though, Eteon is going to need to be saved for sure with a medbay trip within, well, it is hard to tell from any person's point of view who is not a doctor.  The meta on that is not inside an hour, so once the battle is over, if she is raced to the Janiri's med bay, and attended to by a real doctor, she'll recover without risk, though the side effects of the poison may affect her for a while (to be determined by drama and by her author).

Yeah, effectively she (Eteon) needs medical attention else she's going to be in for some nasty side effects. She has time though so the things which need to happen may before resident Turian goes nuts.

I was thinking maybe send Avan back with the wounded, and leave Frank to tend to the engine room.  Any trajectory that's not sending them hurtling into a gas giant should be fine, at least for awhile.  I mean, we're not actually going anywhere, so I figure 'away from Vem Osca' is the way to go.

Well until the bridge is seized the best people could do is get to the scythe because of the Medusa's insane gunfire (presumably automated at this point). Remember too there is still no communication anyway to call the Janiri, plus I don't think the 3 wounded are in much of a condition to move. And then Frank would be alone...scary

Irina has a concussion, a flesh wound, and a very badly sprained wrist. Recoil from a pistol gripped 12 gauge is no fun. She could wake up in a bit, and not be feeling the best. She is not up for any more fighting. She'll be alright with some medi-gel for the wrist and wound, and a few days rest which is exactly what we're going to have after this.

 

Vayne is impaled on that blade. He'll still regenerate, but every time he moves, that blade will do damage. He needs medical attention. The blade has to be removed.

 

Eteon needs medical attention for the toxin.

But Irina's excuse is that she's an ex-marine.
