Retaking the Medusa:  Update

THE BRIDGE:  If you are writing in this part (Jess, Naleena, Essul, Dahlia, Morgan), please stop your action at the point where you would be able to see Luscious and/or Iyana on the bridge so that a proper description can be provided.  And when you take actions in this section, please give me time to have these two characters respond if anything is to affect them.  I'll handle their actions directly, and in turn give you time to respond back to them.  There are some choices to be made based on what happens, so be prepared to make some important ones.

Luscious is one stasis away from being rendered inept and helpless. Iyana on the other hand.

I'm thinking Jess is going to have to add to her injuries a little. Last time she only managed to catch the bridge of her foot. Next time, she's going to catch something else.

 

I mean, these two are at each other's throat's right now and neither are budging. And Jess really ought to give her another reason to not like her.

Hah! Well I d say its safe to take it up to the point of coming into view of everyone. It's a lot different this time as Iyana is kitted out fully. I like RB and Terca 'a entries. and if you'd like to agree on a stasis capturing Luscious I'm okay with that. Again though if you would, stop just before the action so I can give a description, them we'll go back and forth.

Maybe we can superheat a section of her suit. Those flamer's are supposed to hurt people in armour right?

So...did Avan go with Frank towards the controls or stay with the 3? I'll write it as him leaving and returning quickly, unless otherwise needed.

Basically Avan is around both.  Close enough to either help the 3 or do some control work.

EDIT:  I'm writing, but I can hold back if Julia and Jensaarai want to write their characters moving to be able to see the bridge and the people on it.

Some META so you know:  I'm going to call it that Essul and/or Naleena, with cloak, can get a glimpse at the bridge for at least a second or two (enough time to see), without much risk of being seen themselves.  The bridge is lit by a dominant, low, greenish light, and is thereby better lit than the hallway which is being approached along.  Jess could catch a glimpse too, though the maintenance hatches into the room are armored and locked.  Let's call it either something engineering, or she can actually fiddle a lock loose enough, without being detected, to peer through a sliver to see what is going on (yes that is very cinematic).  The point is you guys may get a look at what is going on in there without being instashot in the face, and it will mean that you don't accidentally nuke Luscious and/or the doctor (who hasn't been found yet) with something like explosive charges.  Of course, throw those maintenance hatches open, or make yourself exposed in the hallway, and then it is on.

Retaking the Medusa:  Update

THE BRIDGE:  For the scene that has just gone up, feel free to act, but when it comes to Iyana, please give me a chance to describe the result of the action.  For example, if you want to shoot her, go ahead, but let me show the result.  If you would like something in particular to happen to her, PM me and let's work it out before going to print.  I don't want to control your character, but I would like to control what happens to Iyana for story reasons.

Luscious is supposed to be captured, as a heads up.  I believe RB has a plan for that, and certainly Julia does. 

The merc is free to do what you want with.  Taking care of the merc isn't  a problem, but he will occupy someone's attention for the time, long or short as it is, it takes to kill him.

This is a pretty intense scene, so if you would, allow for some patience for me, and the other players on the scene to react.  At this point I believe we are okay, as SGJ, myself and RB seem to be around, possibly Jensaarai too.  Here we go...

Note:  Luscious is about to fire, for whatever it is worth, and the merc turning around with the assault rifle is going to shoot too, and is definitely a threat.

Its up.  Both Luscious and the merc are firing at Jess...but she can probably take it in her armor.  Maybe.  Well it isn't as if her life isn't threatened.  I mean that armor is armor right?

Dahlia stayed low but emerged from cover with her claymore and fired, hitting the merc in the back.

 

Naleena had readied her carnifex to fire at Iyana and had a Flare prepared.
