So, what happened is up.  Iyana is gone from the fight.  What happened to her will become clear but I have to save that post for tomorrow since my last two took up my time.  For now, anyway, it isn't exactly certain, but watching the 'video  tape' later will make it evident what happened to her. 

Those in the chamber may go about their aftermath.  Someone is down.  Act as you will.  Tomorrow I'll be getting to Iyana and the Janiri moving in on the Medusa and all that Jazz, but basically the fight with Iyana is done and she has escaped. Not without problems, though.  You'll see.

Don't feel dirty. The bad guy totally set that up. I have to get what happens to Iyana up tomorrow. You'll feel better then.

Oh IMPORTANT: the jamming ceases with the thud sounds. I didn't have time to write it. Communicate freely but let me resolve the movement of the Janiri tomorrow. Yes and the guns stop firing just before the thuds. Just too much to do...

I worked 9 hours each of the past 3 days, but tomorrow I'll be freed up to write something big. Good work all around.

Okay, I have to still get to that wrap up post, but I had to put something in there first.  Anyway, interaction in engineering and the cargo module can happen, and Anika can get in btw.  That other post coming in like 2 hours.

Forgive me if there are errors on the last part.  I wanted to jam it out fast.  There's more to the pursuit of Iyana's craft, but I have to do a couple of things first.  So maybe in an hour, hour and a half, something like that.  You guys are really great, by the way, with all your writing.

I knew I should have used the SIG Sauer P226 9mm on Iyana with hollow points. But she had plot armor and those would have struck her in the chest or covered part of her body instead of the uncovered part (abdomen) and would not have penetrated and struck Morgan.

 

Still, really, she should have severe internal injuries from the shots.

Janiri: We're in need of repairs. We'll be heading to Caleston after we've transferred the wounded and the team to the Janiri. Naleena has authorized temporary transfer of some crew to the Medusa to help Jess move the ship somewhere so she can hire a new crew for it or do whatever she wants. It, too, is in need of repairs. Perhaps the shipyards at Caleston can help repair it as well.

 

Caleston: Caleston is home to over 1 billion people living in domed cities. It is the largest eezo mining facility in the Traverse, and is run by Eldfell-Ashland Energy. The Systems Alliance has several shipyards there. There are also several privately owned shipyards. It has been in existence since 1975, and was turned over to the Alliance for administration. many aliens live there: Asari, Turian, Batarians, and humans. Ashland hires people of all races, but only hires Quarians through contractors. There are some merc groups... the typical ones.

 

Team Status: Critically wounded - Morgan, Eteon; Seriously wounded - Vayne; Injured but functional on limited duty - Irina, Jess; Nothing that medigel didn't fix: Dahlia

Retaking the Medusa:  Update

DONE

All right, take it away.  That was my stint.  Thanks for putting up with my stuff.  Surely there are aftermath items, and some follow up, but the Khukuri is on her way out to the Relay, to parts unknown.  There's a bit to add to that, but call her escaped.  There will be a bit part that was already written about Tarballs, and that whole link.  The plot is not over but this chapter is.  Again, I appreciate all the writing.  Good job!

The Medusa's doctor is very good.  He may not be as familiar with turians or krogan, but he's good enough to get them on their way and certainly stop the poison (that has more to do with an antidote that Eteon's biology can handle, and it is available on the Medusa.  Then the poison will need to be flushed from her system).  Morgan is in very bad shape, and will be out for a good while.  He's literally need reconstructive surgery for some of his wounds.  The good news is we have medical magic.  It is more for drama.  Even when up on his feet, he may not be his old self immediately, but that's fine.  There are things to do besides running around with a gun for him.  

Iyana will be back.  If the industrious types are out there, not to distract from the other things we are doing, but there are clues about her left behind for the avid investigator.

And how did she get the information on those dossiers about all of you, not to mention the Janiri?

Is it safe to assume that the Janiri is docked with the Medusa, or are we waiting on something more?

I think it's shuttles going back and forth so the Janiri can protect the medusa.

Yeah, figured they were close together with the crew split up in each until Jess does what she needs with the Medusa.

I shall leave Eteon's fate in the Doctor's hands (she'll be fine in the end). Meanwhile, on Noveria. Things! But things that will be posted tomorrow as there is some stress on me for tomorrow. Midterms. Yuck. But I will have a four and a half hour window to post in the middle of the day since my second class was just canceled.

Considering the bombshell he lit underneath her she's being prudent. Plus they have a mole to uncover so they need to examine everyone's motivations. Iyana's got dirt on everyone. Jess is a woman who has one secret that could get everyone she cares about killed and Morgan knows it.

 

No one knows it. She's spent ages hiding it from everyone. That's the fear. That someone knows her past and could hold her to ransom if anyone knew.
