Wow.  Well, there's some list!

@Julia:  I mean, based on drama, well, I figured Morgan was sort of Kaidened/Williamsed.  Basically stuck healing for the immediate future.  That doesn't mean he won't recover, just more story time based recovery, and not about to just hop on up and go wandering off shouting 'Medigel is the best!'

Therefore he doesn't have a lot of control in what happens to him, but he should end up wherever it seems smartest.  Right now, the Medusa, and since it sounds like the Medusa is going to go the same direction as the Janiri (correct?) is it a problem if he stays on board?  If not you can cart him off like Vayne.

Longer term I was trying to get a sense of where people were headed but I suppose that can come out in the story.

Okay I get the picture. I've been taking care of some business. Apparently something got messed up with my Eddie Bauer card. I hadn't used it in a while (like about a year) and they closed the account. So pbbbbt. I'm trying to order a damned down vest and get a good price on it. I'm planning to be a cheap skate on my heating bill this winter.

And I've been building a drum track and learning how to use Native Instruments Battery 4 which is really an awesome program. Presets are nice but damn. Get creative and come up with your own kits. Then I have to record some spoken lines and do some voice synthing with them. I need to find some inspirational sci-fi phrases. You know.... something other than "a bullet in the head solves everything.".... "I know that now."

That sounds really neat. I would like to create my own music at some point, albeit technical or "fake" music, not instruments. Still, I think it's a useful technology.

Note, that I take into account little minor things like sleep. Sorry about this, but once we begin to travel to the mass relay you guys are sleeping. You are totally exhausted, and if you don't sleep I'm going to make you collapse during the debriefing and have to go to med bay. You don't have to post "I went to sleep." It is automatic unless you post otherwise. So call me "The Sleep Nazi".

I'm writing the transition post now.

Also warning: I started a diet, and I'm a carb addict. I'm off carbs. Just letting you know.

Okay, everyone to the conference room. We have a mission debriefing. Video to review. Then we land on Caleston for our next stop.

I went to a dark place there with essul. Also the nightmare he had was just that, a nightmare. So its gonna be disjointed and not make sense.

Okay, I'm posting a very long post for the post mission de-briefing. Characters should make whatever comments they feel they want to make.

So Jess's plan has been revealed. She's going to transfer the identity of Captain Silver onto Iyana and turn her into the meanest pirate who ever prowled the spaceways and let the galaxy know who she is, what ship she flies, and then let the galaxy do her work  for her.

Which given what's happening in the background might prompt some interesting future plot's.

Meanwhile, we can return to collector hunting wose wascally winon's o'wa weaper's.

Wow. So now I gotta figure out how essul will react to this.

I have a feeling things aren't going to go his way.

Yes, Bron, Essul has some things to consider. Then you had to figure that the Bahak System incident was going to happen sooner or later. He is going to have to choose his loyalties, and he is going to have a very hard sell to make -- Irina Sloane who 1) hates Batarians out of experience on Elysium and Torfan; 2) may have felt sympathetic to the colony (as in "sorry to hear about that colony, Essul," but.... the solid excrement is about to hit the impeller blades).

This is called character growth. The two dimensional characters become three dimensional. These two characters have internal struggles to overcome. Will they overcome them? Time will tell.

Things to note: the embedded reporter was Turian. The Hegemony blames the Alliance. The Alliance denies involvement and blames Cerberus. Cerberus is a known terrorist organization with an anti-alien bend and with political ties to the Terra Firma party, as VERA pointed out.

Yeah, its sort of like if you're Dutch, and someone tells you a passenger plane over the Ukraine was destroyed.  Though on a bigger scale.

Caleston's next.  I have something out there by PM, but mostly waiting for some time to pass for Morgan, and um, well, my hostage character...

Hmmm. Gonna post my brain storming here for general critique, if you guys don't mind.

So for essul I plan on him pretty much requesting his superiors to allow him to leave his current mission and go back to any anti-cerberus missions they might have. A request I plan for the hegemony to deny him, outright, and instead order him to stay on his current spectre task force and attempt to find any information on shepard he can from naleena or her resources, since he's in a closer position then most of their covert agents are inside a council involved endevours. ((let's not forget that one prequel jacob game where the batarians almost killed the council. They are not in good positions with them at all.))

Now from here I am uncertain of what to do after this point, because essul doesn't want to turn on naleena or manipulate someone he feels he owes a serious honorary debt to. On the other, this is information that could help the hegemony, not just his military superiors, but for all the citizens on planets potentially "high value" in another terrorist attack, which essul feels are the most important thing in this whole thing, the normal people.

A scenario I've been playing with is essul basically coming to naleena and begging her to give him any potential information on shepard using her contacts, even offering to let her have access to the classified hegemony data he's been working on decoding in secret, and allowing her to decide what information would and wouldn't be sent about shepard to his superiors. He's going to show how desperate he is, but also how unwilling he is to break from his personal code of honor in protecting innocent people is, even if it means having to swallow all pride and potentially becoming a traitor to the council and the hegemony.

Shepard is working for Cerberus trying to stop the Collectors. The only thing Essul knows for sure is that Shepard stopped and killed Balak over Terra Nova. He has no idea that Shepard was involved with the Bahak Incident at this time.

To me, Essul will have to admit at some point he is only one man, and cannot possibly hunt down every terrorist across the galaxy.  If he is denied action by his superiors, then he is stuck.  I'd imagine the conflict must play out for him behind the scenes, though.  Maybe it is something he brings up and talks about, confiding in someone.  Clearly, Essul gets along with Morgan and well other humans on the ship.  Irina, well....maybe not so much.  But you know, the question is what can Naleena provide on Shepard anyway, right?  Because Shepard's like a rogue Spectre at this point, and only happens to be talking to Anderson and um, that other admiral guy (so brain blanking right now)....yeah?

Anyway, yes, a pro-humanity group blowing up a planet?  I wouldn't want to be a Cerberus agent if Essul meets them...

I assumed security footage of shepard helping break Dr. Kenson from prison would have been collected after the break out, and that the hegemony would assume shepard was responsible. Though maybe under the impression the attack was in retaliation for the terra nova terroist act, or perhaps with more knowledge about waht the asteroid contained then they let on.

If that's not the case and they don't know shepard is involved, then essul will probably still be ordered to stay on this mission, in order to monitor potential council activites. I'll need to do some rethinking then.

Well, that's the double blow going on right now.

Essul's right now in a "trust no one" mood after hearing there might be a spy aboard, he's going to be extra guarded with that revelation. But adding the bahak systems destruction onto that? Now you have a guy who doesn't trust the crews hes' on, who doesn't trust the organizations most call their loyalty to, and whose being made to stay there in that situation.

Essul is going to start cracking, slowly but surely as he worries about what's happening to his people while being helpless and not being able to trust others, and I would like to have some characters there to help pick up the pieces when he does.

Hopefully by the end of it essul will trust the crew again, and maybe open a bit up about himself and some of the stuff he's kept secret. I do want naleena to get a hold of the data he's been decrypting though, cause that could help with the reaper investigation later on.

That's not common knowledge yet. The Hegemony will know this, but it hasn't been made known yet. They're still looking over the massive influx of data from the system before the system went dark. Security footage of Shepard will be something that is discovered.

Screw me, I completely missed that post. Definitely editing.

Ok, edited. Or I'll edit back. But that makes him either a deaf or a dick, or a deaf dick.

Oh dear god.

Look at this as an opportunity for character development.

Nothing like Irina and Ashley Williams for spurring that, eh? I told you the solid excrement was about to hit the fan.

And Kel and I are working on something else at the moment as well. :D
