I PMed Ghostly and haven't heard anything... so... I guess Faed is alone and an unknown asari is in the room with him.

 

I handled Essul the way we discussed. Thanks for the heads up on how you wanted that to play out. I've got some Essul stuff going on right now, and I'm just going by stuff you've written about him in the past, trying my best to stay true to character. I'd imagine he's feeling very conflicted right now, and can't believe that SIU was actually involved. This means his own assignment is a sham. How does he feel about being used? Probably not very good. But in the end he saved lives: Batarian, human, asari, and Turian. That's all that matters, right?

 

The fact that we took so many prisoners on this mission could end backfire on this as well if any of them knew of SIU involvement and the Alliance gets wind of it.

  There will probably be a moment when you'll be unable to get to that DAI, and yet in front of the computer.  And at that moment, the story will have you!  And you'll be like Essoool!  Vaynah!

My quarian feels bad for himself.  Don't leave him!  (of course, I know Frank wasn't going to, but Faed doesn't know that... )

 

And there will be shenanigans on the Medusa I am sure, though I am awaiting a response from Dodger and Sherry (excellent names...)

I'm still plugging through my final play through of DA2 because we know our choices will matter. Unlike some people, I liked DA2. It's only the repetitive environments that got to me. The story itself was well done. ME1 had repetitive environments IIRC.

I got the game on PS3, but I've been watching vids, lets plays, etc from PS4/Xbone/PC footage this whole time.

 

Ignorance really is bliss, if I hadn't been doing that and was playing the game straight spoiler free, I'd be praising this game for looking as good as it did.

I just got the game on XBox 360 because that's what I have, and it won't run on my PC. *sigh*. Well it will run but not that great. Battles could be a bit wonky. I have a machine I do audio work on that will run it no sweat but I don't want Origin spyware loaded on that one.

 

Sigh.... must hold off playing because our choices matter.... unless DA:I is a great place to start. I said I'd wait until the price came down, but nooooo. I had to get the deluxe edition with the pre-order bonuses. Must finish this run of DA2 first. Must be disciplined.

Arian and Frank can get back to the ship on the shuttle taking Ashley for medical treatment. The team is just dusting up turning over the scene to the locals. We're out of there. All intel has been collected by our team or commandos. Naleena boosted a car and took Faed for a joy ride. It's good to be Spectre. But Frank can change. and it's shore leave after Faed gets tested, Frank.

Metacrtic is showing a near split of like and don't like with the likes having it. I've been looking at the reasons but I'm just going to wait till I can play a copy to see what direction BW took.

One of the problems is that there are a lot of problems with the PC using KB-M, but from what I read it is fine with a controller. The game was designed for the XBox One and PS4, and is a port to PC. Just use the bloody controller and you'll be fine. There's also an apparent intermittent bug on the PS4 version with a character customization that switches from American English to British English after a particular encounter IF you customize your character. That's a bug that can be fixed in a patch.

 

I have the 360 version of it because my PC needed a graphics card and ram upgrade to run the thing, and I can't afford a new console yet.

Well, we're done with the Caleston mission. Faed'Vells nar Ketsa is on board being tested by VERA. Naleena gave her report to the Council. Arian is going through combat testing with the Commandos. Essul is back aboard the janiri and can brood in his quarters, although at the moment he's watching Arian go through the combat simulator. Arian hates his guts even though Essul saved his life - he hates batarians. So does Irina, but you know what she said - Essul's not a total dick. This should prove some interesting dynamics. We'll see how characters grow, or if Naleena has to say "The two of you! Stand down or I'll smear the walls with you! Stay a deck apart at all times! Save your anger for the Collectors!"

 

But I'd suggest Essul do some thinking about what happened, and he'll probably check that DNA in Med-lab.
