Aria said there were secrets about Omega that only she knew - Omega has the ability to unlock mass relays. It's a secondary relay network hub to the Citadel. So we could discover a mass relay address and unlock it. It leads to a system where the mass relay got blown out way past the orbit of the outer planet and thus has never been discovered. The civilization never discovered the Prothean Archive in their star cluster. Thus they have not evolved down the technological path set forth by the reapers. The civilization would be equivalent to Earth in about 500 years, should we survive that long. They have colonized their local cluster using standard FTL. They think they are alone.
