What do you guys think of Machaera? Not a lot of posts done, but I'm looking to do some things to make him antagonist worthy of our group.

Enemies are good.  I like to tie plots together personally, whether with characters on the hero side, or villains, and I certainly would love to do that with Machaera.  That doesn't mean I necessarily want a homogenous swirl of one general enemy, but it makes it fun.  On the other hand, too, it helps to have different adversaries with different motives.  That way there's a diverse set of conflicts to face for the heroes.  And we have a lot of them at this point.  Given the capabilities of the 'good guys', honestly it is a struggle to find appropriate enemies to challenge them.  There's sort of an inevitable power creep and better, and more enemies help bring that in.

I don't know what you have planned for this guy but he's clearly formidable.  Blue Suns mercs have sort of become a bit like stormtroopers in Mass effect and our campaign...they, you know, maybe are a threat to NPC's, but they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn shooting at heroes.  That's fine.  But better enemies (hopefully never reaching the DC universe level...but that depends on players more than the villains.  You know, if your hero basically starts punching out suns and reading minds, don't be surprised when Galactus starts eating worlds in your universe. 

So, I like him.  I like that he, too, leads people.  There also has to be a good body of scrubs for heroes to inflict their power combos on too.  He seems suitably ambitions though I don't quite know what that ambition is yet.  I think he should make the rounds, and/or if we have so many players we need them to engage in separate conflicts, he'll be perfect, along with the rest.

@Cknarf - use masking tape around the window sills and window frames. Use a brush to get in the corners. You should use a paint stick to do the main part of the walls. It's one of those things that has a roller on the end and you suck the paint inside it. Makes the job go quickly. I painted my upstairs in one day.

Hey, I'm like a masking tape ninja. For about ten minutes, then I get bored 'cause it's hella tedious, and I just wing it. It usually works out. All these corners and edges and whatnot. Pffft.

 

 Doesn't help that the wife wields a paintbrush like she's painting the walls of a goddamn cave, either lol. Between the both of us...

I'm about to just start slinging it around on the walls and ceiling.

I usually put on some opera while I'm painting.... I think I used Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro" for the upstairs, and Mascagni's "Cavalleria Rusticana" (this is a good Mafia opera) for the downstairs. Opera lends a sense of "art" to using a paint roller.

* Wednesday is hell day for me writing wise. You guys can do this. You'll still have to figure out a way of getting that Mako aboard the Janiri. I'll try to write from my smartphone since I'll be on the road all day, so I won't be making any long posts.

* Thursday we should land on Eingana.
