I apologize for my abscene and low posting rate. Stuff went on with my family that I feel comfortable talking about now though. My dad;s been having health problems lately, cause his diets poor and he doesn't excercise. He hurt his foot a while back, and it was causing a lot of pain for a couple months now. Short of it was, my dad's leg got a nasty infection, and had to come off.

 

Which then as it turned out, was actually for the better. Cause not only is he feeling better, but apparently he's healthier then he';s been all the previous year, and feeling more energitic and ****. He's doing physical therapy, and going through it like it was a breeze, and apparently is months ahead of what the doctors thought he'd be able to do.

 

He still needs help though, and after a long talk between me and my brother/roommate, he went back home to help take care of my parents, while I'm at our house making sure it doesn't get broken into and our animals don't die. It's been a pretty rough month and a half, but things are starting to look up, and this is the first time I think I've actually told anyone this.

 

Point is, stuff looked really bad, but is turning really good, and I might be able to start rping more then I have in a couple days. Things are still setting in and stuff.

Seriously though, I've got nothing but best wishes for you and your family, and whatever might come next.

 

 

 

My pops isn't in the best of health, either.  His back is basically, well, it's pretty fucked. There's something up with his liver too, cirrhois, or fibrosis something or the other, among other things. Docs still haven't got him all figured out.

 

Anyways, he rarely has the energy to get out and go anywhere, and when he does, we don't have a whole lot of time before it's "Sorry, buddy. I have to go home and lay down." I stop by occasionally, but he's either to sick to do anything, or he's asleep, so I sometimes I just don't bother. I try to justify it by telling myself 'I'm busy. He'll understand.' or 'I've got my own family to deal with now.'

 

He lives in town, barely ten minutes away, and I may not see him for weeks at a time. Only now that I type this, do I realize how f***ing shitty those excuses are.

 

There is literally no reason why I shouldn't see him more than I do. Like it would kill me to sit there and talk with my father for a few hours a week, or something. I don't know, man. I'm off tomorrow, so we'll see what happens.
