Had to take a break to get some things sorted out at home but I'm getting set up for the next thrust of the story.

 

I think Jess has some a few things on her mind what with a biological family aboard as opposed to her crew family.

I was thinking Machaera and Iyana would eventually meet in rp. With so many events going on, I think the best way to get this done is for his group and Iyana's to end up both going after Naleena's at the same time, and ending up bumping heads. What happens after that, I don't know. But the thought has me excited.

 

But for now, Vayne's got some digging to do, Essuls got some coffee to drink, and Machaera has a prisoner to interrogate.

Yeah, that should be enough to get him going, anyways. Let me know how you want to work him in, Jules.  I figure It'd be easier to make him a military guy, not just some random civilian that has to bullshit his way onto the ship.

Hey, you know Irina and Arian are in the Armax Arsenal Arena right now. Irina was an Alliance Gunner Chief. So he could be like hanging out watching their match where they score a buttload of points against the Geth Superelites or something like that. She's like unorthodox, but he can see she's definitely a vet and not a merc.

 

Make him 25 yrs old. That way he could join when he's 18, serve his 7 years, apply for the generous package the Alliance offers (codex), and join the team. Since there's nothing going on now he could take his vacation while his paperwork is pending approval. He might be looking for something that pays more, and yes, there are leather seats on teh Janiri.... real leather.

 

But I liked Frank....    He had a lot of character.... but if you want to write his own story.... go ahead. See what I care. After all I've done.

I never said Frank was dead. Did I? No I didn't. He's off gallivanting around doing his own thing ... he's finding himself. He even could return someday.

I didn't post for one week-end and suddenly there's so much going on...at least behind the scenes.

 

I had a large plot for my character in mind as well and I already introduced a few characters. And even though I'd love to somehow connect this story line with another, I'm not going to it because I feel it would make things just unnecessarily confusing. Besides, I can delay that plot as long as I want and I'm definitely going to do that. There's just so much going on right now, I don't want to add to it yet.

 

Anyway, I'll have a post for tomorrow in both CS and Stormhammer.

 

 

 

btw; although he'd never admit it, even Arian will somehow miss Frank if he really decides to stay with his family...

Aww. Maybe the crew should send him letters about how they miss him, and how great he was, and how the overall attractiveness of the crew dropped a whole ten points since he left.

The trailer kind of gave me the feeling like we'll run into:

 

* Handsome Jack will be running Cerberus in Andromeda because you know that since Mac is still involved Cerberus will somehow make it to Andromeda. Because Cerberus is an idea, and you can't kill ideas... besides we need to have human mooks to kill and not feel bad about it.

 

* It's about another threat to the galaxy. Seriously? Maybe they should take the tongue in cheek idea and make that threat psychotic prospectors from Earth, or Bataria, or Kroga, or whereverwhoneedsdetails. After ME3 everyone needs new planets, right? It's Fallout 3 for about 800 years. So what are ya doin' in our galaxy, Pilgrim? Oh, sorry.... it was the Johnny Cash song got me thinkin of possible western themes or even Borderlands 2.

 

* How about they make it like Skyrim in space so we can ignore the main quest entirely and just bomb around and do all the side stuff, but make the side stuff interesting, not like the side stuff in DA:I.

 

* Rebooting the franchise like this means they finally admit that the ending was absolute crap, and they couldn't do a thing with it but scrap the Milky Way galaxy altogether. They took our choices seriously, so they rebooted the series so they wouldn't have to make a choice. Faced with choosing Red, Green, or Blue themselves the writers didn't even choose their own refuse. They turned off their computers and left. I call this a weasel.

Barely any of the milky way was explored in mass effect, 98.7 is unexplored space if I recall. Makes it a bit of a shame that, rather then take advantage of that, they decided to just say "ah **** it!" And go to a new galaxy all together.
