Naleena is making sure Dahlia finishes her mission for Aria, and then it will be shopping with Dahlia, and going over details about her behavior. She has to understand what is going to be expected of her. It takes time to learn discipline. Naleena can be a task mistress.

All right, I am introducing a villain to the story.  This is supposed to be a powerful one, related to Morgan's background though there will be opportunity, if anyone wants, for that problem to go beyond him.  Anyway, for better or worse, I thought some trouble needed to occur.  You know, those Spectres and their people...nothing is ever easy for them.

Kel, i'm wondering how we're going to get Morgan, Vayne and Arrin together. Gabi posts during the week, right? We should be able to get them on the ship soon then...

Without giving away any details, as soon as Gabi and Vayne get deep into this whole smugglers hangar thing, Morgan will be right there.  It should happen soon, I would imagine.  Then we'll also have an excuse to get with your ship.

Speaking of, there's something that we need to agree on so we don't all run into the same problem every forum RPG get's into.

 

If people are running several characters in one scene, and the scene needs one person to fire the starting gun on what happens..... but then do not post for several days, that's 2 or more players stalled in their writing.

 

If players know they have one or more poster waiting on them, can we endevour to move forward enough  so that the other posters can likewise move forward.

 

In other forum RPG's I've literally had to wave my character's hand in their face, take their blank look as, 'no ones home'. Then jump the action forward in someway myself so we didn't lose people from the RPG. The person in that instance didn't post for over a week. If you know ahead of time that's going to be the case then let everyone know so they can write around the unexpected delay.

@ RB - hence Naleena's existence in the RP. We do have people go on hiatus without notice and without PMs etc. This sometimes happens during an action scene. I will hold back Naleena's abilities 99% of the time but reserve the right to go Beatrice Kiddo should it be required to get through a situation like you described in order to keep the RP moving of course in coordination with anyone else involved in the scene. However if she is alone due to player absence, she'll take care of the business herself Tarantino style in all its ridiculousness. Bear in mind Naleena is NOT a hero.

Okay, I'm concerned because I haven't heard from either of the two writers I've been working with.  To be fair, Jensaa put in an entry this past Monday, though I haven't heard since by PM, and though Gabi said he doesn't write on the weekend, I haven't heard from him since either.  There isn't a great way to write myself out, so I'm trapped, especially since I don't want to write anything on anyone elses character.  All I'm doing right now is waiting, and hoping one of them will get back to me.

okay, we'll have to come to some consensus on how to tackle this in the future. It happens alot in other forum RPG's where writers disappear off the grid leaving another writer stuck because his character actinos rely on stimulas that the other writers provide.

 

If they are about, can they drop a quick post to free Kel up to act. If needs be he can take the character's under his wing and group meet Deidras. Then they are all Audron pickup candidates that leaves the other two writers in a position to continue them as Audron crew.

 

It's been 5 days of waiting for Kel I believe, who wants to wrtie something. Son't leave him hanging you guys!

No, please, it is more a matter of that we've got this plot going and I really like it.  And it involves our collective backgrounds, you know, cumulating in this information.  If we can get through this part and onto the Audron, or with Deidrus, it will free us all up.  No apology needed. I am secretly hoping Gabi shows up like a thunderbolt and suddenly posts!

But we do have to come up with a consensus about how to handle this. Naleena is fine. She has an assignment from Aria: teach Dahlia some discipline and stuff like that and return her to Aria when she's learned it. Naleena has her own shuttle. She can take her sculpting by Forta, her drugs, and vanish off the grid. The hope of immunity is what keeps her on the Audron at the moment.

 

I like the premise of this RP. I just want to see this thing get going.
