I'm working on basic character backgrounds and will have to do more tomorrow.  Would have written another little bit but with construction traffic around here, I got home late from being out.  It's 2:15 am+ and I was supposed to be back at 12:30 am.  So more tomorrow instead.

Just as a teaser, I'm working on pictures and background for Team Boom, finally.|

And as with all pictures, these are meant to enhance whatever your image of the characters are.  If you imagined them differently, I hope this in no way replaces that image that you have.  These are meant to 'fill in the blanks' and getting rpg characters exactly to the T of how even I imagined them is impossible.  Still, it has been fun, if not some work.  Here's Mira:

I have to say...I'm seriously impressed. This looks really good! I've done some drawings of one of my own characters as well but compared with this...just wow, nice work! Is this 2d or 3d artwork?

They have a great if somewhat limited, character facial generator. To make an Asari, though, took cropping, blemishing and adding color, so I'll take some credit for kitbashing her:). The others are taking more work

EDIT:  Okay, Team Boom is up.  I had some great fun creating the pictures, but it was a lot of work for me for what is seen.  Again, if you had a different, maybe even better idea for how these asari looked in your mind, you keep that picture!  This is my best personal attempt to put some definition around them, even if not everything that can ever be done in a portrait is perfect unless it is done from scratch.  I hope filling in the blanks helps, so to speak.

Okay, I have to give Anika time to "have it out" with Jess, then I'm starting the next mission. This means the Medusa has to dock, Anika has to go aboard.

 

There'll be a team briefing. Jess can choose to be on board the Janiri for the meeting or participate via QEC. Oh, and Arian, if he's coming back should get back and probably see the doc. Due to miracles of modern medicine he'll be alright and fit for duty. I'm not putting VERA in the Geth platform.

I'm going to post something about stuff. And all that, or whatever. Waiting for stuff to like, go, you know what I mean? Yeah. I substituted wine for burbon. Trying to punish my liver just a little less. If you drink it fast enough, you still get where you gotta go, but not like, too far past where you wanted to go. You know, when you wake up and hate yourself?

I've always pictured characters in my own way, or whatever. I like to think I see everyone as they were intended. Except Anika. For some reason, I never picture Anika as blonde lol. She is blonde, right? Sh*t. She's always had dark hair in my head, I don't know why, but that's how it's been from the start.

To me, every character in the RP has a distinct face, and voice in my mind. Except my own characters, for some reason. The humans, anyways. I've never been able to really give Frank a face, or a voice. Johnny is still new, so I wouldn't know where to begin. I feel like I know what he sounds like, but he's still kinda 'blurry', or whatever. I don't know.

Anyways, I'm glad the commandos finally got an add in the character thread. They've been around long enough lol.

Hey narf, go into the ME3 character creator if you still have the game and make a character face for Johnny. Spend some time. If you're on a PC take a screenshot.

 

I really can't find an Asari that looks like Naleena either. Her picture is okay, but she has pale blue skin and pale blue eyes.

Seriously. I'm having Mass Effect Withdrawls right now. Just got to Omega in my first ever femshep playthrough. Or that was like, a month or two ago when my 360 died... sh*t. Oh well.

 

Anyways, if I had to just pick a famous dude to be his stunt double, or something, I'd probably go with Isaiah Washington. Whom I more or less only know because my wife will watch Grey's Anatomy back to back to back to back every couple of months. Ugh. I need to get cable.

I just got my sweeeet sweeet new hard drives. One is Win 7 backup + it's ready to take the new Win10 release so I can go back to Win7..... Because I'm not getting caught out by not having my support CD's incase anything goes wrong MS!!!....
