Damn. Arian's people skills are off the charts... like ... I don't know... damn... what does this guy think about all day? Does he have any hobbies? Oh yeah, killing and learning more about killing. He should have some hobby that's real... well... off the wall, like knitting or crocheting, or oil painting, or something like that... and he won't talk about that either.

 

He's the guy no one talks to at work. Everyone will give him a wide berth.

Well, it can also have advantages. Imagine, nobody would ever dare to bother him with something that's not seriously important...

 

Maybe he needs something to do that involves some sort of social contact, like looking after kittens or be an elementary teacher.

Or you could have him live in a cardboard box in his quarters. That would be real eccentric. Make it like a rat's nest. ... and dark. No one goes in there....

 

Elementary school? Probably middle school kids. Something that requires people skills.... like Algebra. He should be full of dark sarcasm.

Hey guys. I hope things are going well for you all. Gonna type up some posts here and enjoy folks whose sole purpose is not to break my will into little tiny bits with their sass. IE, you wonderful bunch of people.

 

I've had a bit of a rough time on a different site.

heh, it's nothing too bad. Just frustrating. I'm in a star wars rp. And there's this guy who really, really, likes droids. He's made like 12 characters, all of them droids, and part of his own faction of droids and force sensitives, and force sensitive droids ((Iron Knights who his droids "appropriated" from the jedi. IE stole them when they all died in the purge.)). Like, on that site the rules of canon are a strange sort. We've got Turians and Sangheili working with the Chiss, as members of an alliance whose headquarters is the Citadel, this citadel, The turians, Sangheili((elites from halo), and chiss are the citadel council races in our star wars rp.

 

So things, already, kinda in the air for what is and isn't allowed. But even then, everyone follows the basic politeness of rping. That is giving other players the chance to win. But not the droid guy. He studied the canon force abilities and such, as well as weaponry and tech. And he uses this, to absoulute crush everyone and make his chars perfect. For example, his force sensitive members of his faction can use an ability to disassemble weapons instantly and understand any technology just by seeing it. And he uses this ability all the time. And he uses this whenever he fights other playesr playing force users, by breaking apart their sabers during their attacks, then posting his character attacking them, usually with a killing blow to the head.

 

It's getting to the point where I'm close to calling Mary Sue Shinnanigans. And I hate calling that. Just look at Machaera, he's guilty of being an over powered near perfect character. But I'd never make him insta-disarm another player without some sort of struggle first.

Exactly. It's why we love Frank. It's why we love Vayne and Essul. And it's why we'll love Johnny. And then there's Mr. Personality, Arian. He's hilarious. I could see the guy as an elementary school teacher. No wait. I can't. Maybe as the substitute teacher all the kids hate and are scared to death of... or the principal. "I'll send you to the principal's office!"

 

We had a middle school principal they used to call prune face. His face would stop a clock. Kids were scared to death of him. He had three "enforcers" - tough assed teachers. Of course this was in the days before kids brought guns to school. Arian would have his Typhoon on the desk.

Sounds like Jenus has a burr up her backside. Jess is going to love playing with her. Maybe inbetween the pep talks if they have a chance to meet.
