That's where my posting has been coming from.  Write write write until I can't see straight, go to sleep, wake up and make edits to the butchered mess that I made the night before.

 

Now it's gonna be: Type three words. Check facebook. Delete words, check facebook again. Give up, play xbox. Stand around in the garage for a half hour. Write a paragraph. Delete paragraph. Write a simple Johnny post, and call it a night.

 

Speaking of... I'll have to go find him today and get him going. He hasn't seen much action since his initial test drive with Naleena.

I actually wanted to post in both CS and stormhammer today but I didn't feel like it. Especially after finding out that the little background story involving Arian and my other characters is not even going to work the way I intended it to. Because for some reason Bioware felt that it would make sense that the humans, whose first contact with another alien species was actually a war, would get a seat in the council of the galactic community they just joined, only twenty-eight years after that first contact. Sure. F*ck logic. And then humans in Mass Effect complain about being looked down at.

 

Anyway, due to problems with my PC, I might be unable to post for a while. Maybe a day or two, maybe longer, I have no idea how long it will take to fix it since I'm not able to do it myself. I hopefully won't miss too much. Well, it wouldn't really matter, I bet you could imagine Arian's reactions to everything.

I wanted to post today but was too depressed. I've had computer problems with modems and stuff and wanted to wring ISP necks. Sorry. Will get to it tomorrow.

Had a job interview today and I got all stressed about it. Spent the whole rest of the day just trying to cool myself off afterwards.

All my co workers have left the company or have taken a holiday to the end of the month. I'm left covering all their work. Then the branch manager springs work that needs doing in the next few days. Catalogue shots in four hours...... 400 shots in 2 days...... Half the stuff isn't even here...... Manager's who can't seem to disengage mouth to engage brain and listen to the only one who can tell them how this needs to happen to have a hope of getting this done.....

 

Yeah.... Much stress over the past few days and what tops it off is redundancy is in 2 months and I need to get more applications out.... which I can't do because work is pressuring me to do their work.... which I get no thanks for. No respect for. Meanwhile if I don't get the app's off tonight I'm going to miss the deadline.......

 

Stress...... Does not cover it...... I'm pretty much AM in regards to the idiots I'm forced to work for who only tell me what needs shooting at the 11th hour.

Sounds like everyone's having a pretty shitty week. Suppose I'll share, too.

 

Last Saturday, I get called in to work on what was supposed to be my day off. Alright, so I roll out of bed, feelin' a little like sh*t, 'cause I got pretty trashed, and was expecting to sleep in 'til noon.

 

NOPE!

 

Tires slashed on 9 cars in my inventory. 9? That doesn't seem like a big number, considering we usually have about 50 cars at a time. But they all have four tires... so that's 36 wheels to remove, 36 tires to dismount, 36 new tires to mount, then 36 put back on the cars.

 

That's no big deal for a dedicated tire shop, but since we're a little 3-man operation, we have one jack, and one set of jack stands. I brought in a few cinder blocks to help. Since we don't have our own tire machine, we have to deal with a shop a ways down the road. That service isn't free.

 

Tires: $1620

Mounting: $540

 

So that's $2160, not counting the eventual disposal fees of said tires. Okay, so that's not exactly business-breaking for us, but it sure doesn't help when we haven't sold anything so far this month. Also, my back sort of hurts.

 

I've got one last car to do, and that should be the end of it.  I finally talked the boss into a camera system, which we're installing now, so next time this happens, we might catch the fools. It's happened before, just not on this scale, and I'm sure it will happen again.

Note: I’m ghosting the Medusa. Redbelle – I know you’re busy at work right now, so you can back fill activities as needed, but I need to get the plot moving again. We planned for you to sell the omni-tools on Erszbat and also use the booze and stuff for bribes. I’ll get us to the Harsa System, where the Batarian home world is located. Here the Medusa will have to make its first presentation of shipping documents. Morgan can do this if Redbelle is unavailable, as Jess can be *ahem* otherwise engaged in private quarters.

We can easily handle basic functions of the Medusa with Morgan and Naleena, and it is not a presumption to say Jess is busy.  If someone needs to handle negotiations, Miss Priss has been able to multi-task in a number of different criminal activities.  She's um persuasive.  Then there's always Dogger...we're fine. There won't even be that much in the way of ghosting I think.

True about RB, but after hearing the workload.... yikes! Anyway I just pulled everyone out of port and on the way to the relay. This gives everyone time to get their response in as far as what they need to do. I just ghosted the "we're leaving" and i didn't want the ships to get separated.

 

Waiting for a PM'd short piece I'm doing with JB that just came up so there's plenty of time now.

No, that's going to be a time skip. Don't worry about it. It won't take that long in real time. It is the logical way to do it without pulling the "we're sneaking through Batarian space because of stealth drive" out of my ass.
