We're sweating this one out. Do you have any idea of the size of the unedited MS Word file that would make Chasing Spectres? A 77 page RP called Battle For London was the length of a 700 page paperback. Can you say holy crap?

 

Chasing Spectres is huge. People have put a ton of work and a ton of their hearts and souls into it.

 

And now like Stargate SG-1 there's a spin off called Stormhammer.

They're in this section, way down.  The search engine here helped me.  Sorted for posts in fan creation with London in their title, at least 25 posts and 25 views.  Got them both in the first sort.  I'm very happy that they are there and was worried a bit.

Ash Reaper was a human...mostly. When he was a kid he fell into a cave in the woods on a colony world he lived on and found a reaper that invaded his mind and altered his bkdy to be super tall and buff. He killed his family and became a merc with the reaper just chilling in the back of his not controlling him for reasons and one day he found a way to control the reaper voice instead whihc allowed him to use biotics as well as control tech and anything indoctrinated.

He was also supposed to be a good guy, even though hakf the people he meets, he murders when the reaper "gets loose".

That's just the tip of the iceberg though.

I did some stuff. I found a way to copy + paste the rp pages to fanfiction.net. It can only handle 15 posts at a time and needs some editing. But I can start to archive this stuff. Along with anyone else who wants to help with it. Page 1 is now done. Will continue the rest when I have more free time.

My thoughts for the week:

 

The past couple of weeks I've had some writer's block. The lack of movement in Chasing Spectres in the past two weeks is on me. I seem to have come out of that, even though I'm posting mostly garbage stuff at least something is coming out. I have the will to write.

 

This week we got hit with a forum change. I never used the off topic section myself, but still we don't particularly like change. The good news is that they didn't shut us down.

 

We wrote Battle For London in a forum like this. It had other stuff in it, too. We just posted our stuff.

 

Kel and I have links to all of the pertinent threads in our signatures for Chasing Spectres and Stormhammer, so you can make a bookmark for  each of them in your browser shortcuts and they won't get lost. Each of us will have a quick link. We should be okay.

I'm fine with that...but really what is more important is kicking Chasing Spectres in the rear buttcheeks.  Because there has been no action for....like over a month.  Seriously, I am not looking back to find out how long.  Okay, narf was the exception.  And I love my character interaction but I am going to have Jenus put a shaped charge to the outer hull of the Janiri soon, just so something can happen.  No, okay, no I don't want to see forced action.  But this is like we're dehydrating in a desert here.  If you want, I will do it, but I'm sorry I'm going to f**k up that whole whatever batarian thing is supposed to go on if I do.

Hey, tbh I have things I'm doing, but chasing spectres is languishing and not in a good way. 

Now, this isn't the Stormhammer thread, but I can tell you there is stuff going down right nau over there.  So here it  comes...
