Well, blame Jenus. Sh*t is going to hit the fan when Naleena finds out. I mean the worst that was going to happen to Amy under Naleena's plan was that Amy was going to end up with VERA explaining to Selani what had happened, and Amy receiving an apology and being turned loose on the Citadel before the ship left for Thessia. But now Jenus causes a problem.

 

Oh, let's not forget about Naleena visiting Mira on Thessia!

To be fair. Essul thought she might be an assassin, who had taken one of the crew hostage, possibly killed, and was working for Cerberus, or Iyana, Or some other faction that they've stepped on toes over.

 

It's not the craziest thing that would have happened to us lately.

Some dad music right there lol  Sh*t, more like grandpa in my case... If grandpa was cool like that. He's more of a country kind of guy.

 

You never hear anything like that on the radio around here.  All of the classic rock stations loop the same **** over and over. Don't get me wrong, I love the Rolling Stones as much as the next guy, but you can only hear Brown Sugar and Gimmie Shelter so many times a day before it starts to get to you.  I gotta settle for the college station to get me some proper dad-grandpa music. One day a week. For maaayyyybe three hours.

I'll be posting later tonight. Been working closing shifts all last week. Not good for writing. Today has been a day of stress with my brother having a panic attack over his phone finally breaking, its screen has been cracked for a full year, and having to play comforting shrink for the whole day.

Damn, they're really getting tight around here. Some days you know you just want to slap some tunes on hop in your car and just put the pedal to the metal, but there's too many cops around. I need to slap some new tires on the car before I do anything crazy like that too. Damn, some of the stuff we used to pull. Like that stretch of I-15 from heading to Vegas from LA running at about 105 - 110. Getting those white lines zipping by the car in time with the music, pulling out to pass a car or truck on occasion and watching for cops. This song captures that drive perfectly.

So Kelham buys tickets to the "charity ball" in exchange for Bailey looking the other way at certain activities and then in exchange doesn't cause too much trouble. As a result Bailey gets promoted to Commander.

 

I'll have to figure out a way of bringing Kelham into the picture again.
