All this race business is old hat for Johnny, so he won't be heading straight for the track himself. Maybe he and Arian can rent an exotic car and cruise on some chicks, or something?

Then again, they're staying at the Galaxy Hotel and Spa.

Yeah... I think I know where Johnny's going next.

How exactly does this plan work, 'Frank'?

There is crime in Armali. There just aren't slums. Overall it's pretty safe to walk the streets, but I wouldn't rule out street gangs of roving maidens under 75 yrs old in certain areas of the city. Crime is probably mostly cyber crime and drugs. There's always drugs. Street gang cyber crime - doing like Shepard and robbing bank ATMs while several look out. They're young and developing their biotics. They're also armed. They might try to mug an unsuspecting Turian if you want to walk into their territory.

Gang violence in Armali. The Pirhanna sisters.

.... And Frank, exactly how does this plan "work." Suppose she wants to see your "prosthesis?"

I don't know. I felt like Frank posting, and well, that happened. Tell me something, though. Would you hassle a dickless veteran who participated in the battle of the Citadel? I didn't think so.

You know another thing I wouldn't do? Try and mug a 7ft, pissed off looking turian. But hey, that'll be a fun read if it ends up going that way, Maj.

Arian walks down the street of a bad neighborhood.  Seven asari are riding on top of him, trying to pound on him to no avail.  He ignores them, mostly, other than that typical 'I hate life' look that he has on his face

I'll write that little extra bit.  Frank's BS is probably only needing a slight dose of reality.  And let's face it.  The security guard probably isn't exactly on the level of someone guarding the Janiri here...

Faaaaaaantastic.

Now, through the tunnel!  It's only one of the coolest parts of the speedway, going directly under the racing surface as cars and/or bikes are all like 'vrooooom' overhead, and it echoes and you feel that rumble in your chest...

Would that even happen with these things?

I don't think jet bikes really rumble.  They don't have IC engines.  There was a description I have of one in the Battle of London thread.  Pretty much at low speeds they tend to make no sounds at all, at least the high performance racing ones.  As they throttle up, they actually have a rather melodious sound, less like a whine and more like something crazy amazing.  Angelic would be the word that comes to mind.  At least if they've been made by asari, which most are I think.  Some fast but lower tech ones may roar, very much like the kind that would be racing currently, and of course, when something of high velocity passes overhead, that makes its own sound.  The top end of pro racer cycles, I'm sort of saving the description I have of those and the sound they make as a surprise for the big day, though it will be hinted at throughout.  RB and Julia know my style with these things and while I don't have a monopoly on creation, I imagine the bikes very representative of the asari in elegance, efficiency, and the twist here is how much power comes out of these crazy things.

Most likely Arian wouldn't even notice the seven asari until he tries to return to the Janiri.

Halt! These asari are not authorized to get on the ship!

What are you talking a...oh...sh*t...

But since I don't really have the time to think of a great storyline for Arian here on Thessia, I will just write whatever comes to my mind. Maybe there are others who show the same enthusiasm for jetbike racing as he does

Sorry for not posting much lately. I've been handing in and doing assignments left right and centre. Plus I have to go give interviews and operate camera's for folks and...... It's taking up a lot of time which is a shame because I wanted to pull the pin on Anika on Thessia..... Might still get around to it but it's not looking likely.

Give me vague instructions and turn me loose, RB.  You won't regret it!*

*unless you have a problem with nothing but Anika crushing people like the hulk for no reason, because ANIKA SMAAAAASH

And a future with silent racing machines?  I don't think that's a future I want to live in!

I'll have to PM you you demanding bastard, narf.

RedBelle, a targeted summary?  A synopsis that you could embellish on later?  Don't leave us hanging!  And we'll be at Thessia for a little while, so you never know.

I didn't pick up on 'dropping the hammer' until Marcus mentioned wrecking the bike, then I was like "Goddammit, Jules." Now I'm going to be hearing Robert Duvall anytime he appears in the RP. Suppose that's not a bad thing. Everyone sounds cooler with a voice flanging effect!

Now imagine that... but in a tunnel.

I know what I'm watching when I get home...

LOL.  There are certain lines one must steal outright. But yeah, I had Robert Duvall's character in mind for Marcus. But hey, let's make him Turian for fun.

Will Iole notice it was Red when she takes off her helmet? I don't think Frank will. When Frank left she still had bright red hair.

Ha. I actually made note of that in my... well, notes.

Things for Frank to comment on so far:

-Essul's promotion

-Irina's hair

-Faed

-Any new people we might pick up.

And more!

I plan on posting something tonight. Or maybe even today, I don't know.

Might go poke Stormhammer with a stick too, while I'm at it.

Kel sent me a PM and he said he's been extremely busy. I've been working with a PM segement with him. I'm also working a PM segment with JB.

So, Narf, why don't you handle the Iole and Frank segment, along with the Johnny segment.

I'll write the Irina segment.

I'm actually trying to get something up about the races at least each day and am working on a thing now....we'll see if someone doesn't just try and come and ruin my day here while I do it!  Seriously my office door is closed...

That's the plan, Jules.

I'm usually able write stuff at work, and finish it up at home, but this is kind of a busy time for us. I've got abooooouuuut 60 cars to get ready for winter. Antifreeze and all that business. I'd rather get it done now while it's still above freezing, and I'm not swamped with customers throwing their tax refunds at me.

We are going to have 20 degrees celsius this weekend and the sun is shining all day long. I think winter is a myth

I will post today or tomorrow (hopefully) in both stories but don't expect something big for CS because I don't have many ideas for Arian...or maybe I do...?

Um, narf, I hope it was okay what I wrote and can edit it later.  I pushed the races into the next day just to get us a bit closer to shenanigans and the main event.

It's terrible, and I hate it. I hate you, and everyone else here!

Hah, not really. I haven't even read it yet, but that's next on my to do list. I was going to post more last night, even holed myself up in the basement. Somehow alcohol managed to follow me down there as well, so... yeah. I didn't quite get around to it.

Eta: That'll do. No sense in writing sh*t like "And then they walked waaaaaay over there, because the facilities are massive. Then they walked some more!"

I'm getting killed so I've put up the interactive pieces for Anika which I can do super fast, but I owe a bit on Morgan, several bits on the races, a PM to Julia, and of course Stormhammer.  Pretty much I'm at my limit of stuff I can handle in general so I just wanted to let you guys know this is not my season.  I can't imagine it getting worse but I couldn't imagine it getting this busy for me.  Still I'm here.  And I'll do everything I can to keep stuff going.

I can't imagine being killed being any fun. So Iyana is a real person, then? And your name really is Morgan.

Well they say the best writers write themselves into their characters.
