To that, Super J, I will say that I could add one, however as you can see with Morgan (and you're familiar with Rea), I try to make each character deeply detailed.  With Chasing Spectres it turned out to be different.  In Battle of London, I was just adding unconnected characters.  It was easy.  It's a big battle.  For CS, I found myself wanting to connect the stories, and so instead of creating another main or player character, I have a bunch of NPCs and villains, and so on.  There's always Morgan's brother, or Officer Richards, but I get the sense that isn't exactly what you mean here....

 

If what you are talking about is a potential LI character...let's say for one of your characters....we're talking man, or someone compatible...drell, turian...well I get that for asari anyone can really be compatible, but I also get the sense that volus, elcor and vorcha might not exactly do the trick...you want something with a little relatable attraction.  Human male is what you said.  For my part, while I want to add someone, I have to have that character a bit more alive, and I don't want to throw anything in a story just to add another character.  Not if they are going to matter.  I can add a hundred Calvin Brisbane's but someone in depth takes a lot more work.

 

Anyone who could tow a writer for that in here, it would be great.  And it is all about having the right match of roleplayers too.  Otherwise, we might just find ourselves all in the same situation again where someone is very enthusiastic, and then drops.  I sent some messages out there to people who have made characters, but haven't heard back from any recently.

@sj: I sent you the pm. Morgan wouldn't accept money being held back. Either that or Naleena has more credits from him. He never gave anybody any account info linking to him. Even if it was found out, he would have denied the transaction . Just soes you know. So I'm going to go on with that he has no money right now.

Since Jess is playing the "Clint Eastwood" of the group, Naleena needs to fill the role of Lee Van Cleef. Hell, she's got the coat, and she's the oldest in the group, except for Vayne, who doesn't have the coat.

I'm going to get back into the game of developing this out a bit more tomorrow but it's been so hot here for the past week that my brains fried. Getting early night but we need rain rain rain.

Duellos has inspired me to write some Spaghetti Western music. I've written the melody. It's awesome. When it is finished I'll put it up on Youtube. I have to orchestrate it which is not easy. I will call it "Duellos" lol. Then I may include some incidental Spaghetti Western music and the showdown, because you know there's going to be one. By the way I'm part Italian, so this is officially Spaghetti Western music. So live the dream people.

 

We have "The Good (Jess), The Bad (Naleena), and The Ugly (Anika - except she's not ugly)" riding up front with Mad Max (Irina) who is riding on the other side of Jess. And Sir Lancelot in the back. Morgan (left) riding with Dahlia.

It'll also serve for a quick, 'group arrives and see what it see's' transition for the Asari plant.

 

I'll do that one next if someone else doesn't want to.

 

Just think a large walled in heavy industry fabrication plant that takes in mined resources in one end and spits the product out the other along a high speed rail.

I thought Jensaarai might be posting so held back on this one piece that SJ and I did on the way to the DA, because I thought he was going to have Vayne shopping....okay, so Vayne go ahead and do your thing....our post presumes the whole group, including you, were eventually riding together to the DA compound as well, even if you eventually had to catch up (Morgan and Dahlia did)

 

...I'll post it now, with a little reference to that it happened on the way.

Oh, and now reading RedBelle's post, I see we had slightly different interpretations of nature on the way.

Weeeeeeell, we all see things from different perspectives..... Maybe Jess had one of those click wheel card holders and missed everything else.

 

Given Duellos is a bit of an arid low atmosphere wasteland the animals are too. And the VI bit fed something in as to why that is the case that will be explained later on.

 

That said... I stand by every re-edit I make!!!

 

p.s. I totally encourage shinnegans along the way. Personal conversations, etc.... the transition is to get folks moving along and let them know where they'll end up...... But it's not canon at the time it was written, but will be when we're all ready to proceed.

I think we might be all ready except for Vayne, who's got some shop stuff to discuss.  You being the creator of the DA and all that, I defer to you, though certainly I'll give ya any handy details I think would be grand...shenanigans abound!

 

You gonna have the Captain break in the conversation?  This ought to be interesting.  Morgan, you know when it comes to Drowned Aspire people, will speak to when spoken to.  As for inter-party conversations, that's different...

And you've got to remember that Dahlia has been on Omega her entire life. This is her first real journey in the open air. Of course its beautiful to her.

Considering vayne is the only one whose holding up the group, I'm thinking that it might be easier on everyone to do a time skip of vayne getting with the others.

 

His armors not going to be ready to be fixed before we investigate, so really all it'd be is getting a lead on who to see about repairs for a later date.

 

I'll write a post, once I've read the others, about vayne riding in to meet up so we can get this thing cracking.
