I still gotta write him, been really busy up until today, which I am still busy. Got a name at least, Kavadar Vayne, so that's a start.

Kanae had priority now... Flare's second character is at an exotic place but there are always reasons for people to be places out of the way, he could be around there.

I'll probably not have him up today, maybe tommarow though. Will depend on how quickly I can knock out my worklaod and chores.

Focus on what needs to be done man, no need stressing out over things outside your control.
And Julia I'm sorry about the slow replies, school takes precedence and it means I am away from the forum for a while at a time.

Don't worry about slow replies. I have other projects I'm working on... like music projects... and I've got to go to the gym and stuff like that.
I guess you're gathering that Naleena isn't all that feminine. It's the way I see the Asari. A monogendered species should default to androgyny from a behavioral viewpoint. There will be variances.

I agree, there is no reason for them to act 'female' as we might define them. They appear to be feminine from their appearance however there is a wide variance in attitudes within the Asari. Throwing them into a bag as being a flat view of a female is shortsighted and basing it on a stereotype is worse :/

In addition to the not-so-feminine female (I'm just saying female because she physically looks like a woman, despite gender having no real meaning to Asari), I like having Adelaide, the overly-feminine female. Too few times have I seen a kickass hero who also does her nails, wears silk pajamas, and overall likes being fabulous.

One word: Legally Blonde. Well that's two, but you get the point.
Also, Toni, you good for getting Elara up and about tonight? Time to get on Baladrum's tail and to grab Kanae I'm thinking.

Alright, I've decided to join.
I'll have my character up on Friday.

Alright Ledgend! Welcome to the group!
When you create your character you have the option of either simply putting your character in the way (and him/her being picked up without much of a hassle) or a bit of a recruitment mission to give us insight into your char. If you need any more direction or help feel free to PM me for more information or to shoot ideas around.

But Toni, don't you see? Adelaide is cool.
I've gone through the Normandy crew with Naleena for potential LIs. Jack? They'd have a pissing contest to see who could be the most bad ass. Best friends though. Samara? They'd try to kill each other. Grunt? Too young. Zaeed? Interesting. Jacob? No. Just No. Vega? No. The VS? No. Javik? Too many eyes, besides if he called her primitive.... Liara? No. Thane? Too much like her dad as in way too much like her dad. Garrus? Not quite. Shepard. Miranda tries to act too tough.
Shepard (m or f) or Zaeed for LI.

I am up for it, yo! Sorry for the late reply. I was watching Bad Girls All Star Battle.
Adelaide and Vega or Jacob, tho.

Deidrus is a character who is more geared towards being 'that one guy' who people know but can't think of anything in-detail about them off the top of their head. Walks into a room, finds someone to talk to, walks out, and is fairly comfortable he's improved the mood just a little bit.

Shooting out a brief rundown of the building and such. So Baladrum's group was in the club, Ber'ah. I'll leave the time of day up to you all's discretion and play off of it. Anyway, after the explosion, the left through the back, hopped into a skycar and went about 10 kilometers to a "defunct" space port/cargo port. Here you'd find a good measure of thugs and all the weapons they could ever want to shoot at you, courtesy of the Terminus Systems and the Black Market. The second building is indirectly connected to the first via a few bridges. There's two mechs, one guarding each bridge, that can be sabotaged or just mowed down.
The second building is more of an office like setting. Covers as a front business and this is where Baladrum will end up. 74th floor, held up in his office with his paid killers (4 of them excluding him) and some normal weapons and one or two heavy weapons.

... I think I can come up with a mental map of what needs to go down. Alright, works for me!

Can't wait to see what you come up with. The mercs and how they react or die is something I'll let you all control. I'll probably only handle Baladrum.

I think with the fanfiction I've been able to write over the past couple years along with quite a while spent playing with NPCs in other RPs I think I can put together something good. I don't want the firefight and infiltration to last too too long, but I think I can choreograph it decently.

I figured as much. That's why I gave the whole "as many weapons as" speel. That means if you all go in guns a blazing, find a heavy weapon, hack a mech, or... find a gun ship by chance, it's all you. Alternatively, if you decide to just walk among them as "allies", it's all you. Baladrum is just someone I have a special end for. But if he dies by a stray bullet, it'd be sad but fine too.

Also, for the Audron...

That is the ship but with some minor detail changes. The width and length are doubled from the measurements here, making this ship considerably larger than the Normandy. For the sake of ease, the layout is exactly the same as the Normandy SR2, the single change is that there is a 'Bridge' more like a naval ship. That is to say the CIC and Galaxy map are both located in the same area as the pilot. The Auxilory Bridge on the top, or the combat bridge, is the secondary location from which a tactical map is available, it also provides a much wider view of the field than the foreward bridge.
It flies as a VTOL, the wings able to move and shift similar to a Gunship (it is a Randell-Class Gunship) and is capable of short-range FTL flight.
Aesthetic changes include that there are no NASA logos (of course) and that the ship is a matte black color.
Edit: The Audron can be used like a gunship but it's too unweildly to use in a crowded skyscape without high chance of issue, and Illium would take offense to such damage. Deidrus would call on it for backup but that's about it.

Wait, Normandy from ME2 or ME3? Cus I hated the ME2 design, logically speaking anyway. Grab my gear as I leave the hanger instead of the CIC.

If people want the SR2 variant from ME3, that works for me. It doesn't change a whole lot IMO but that's just me.
#98
Posté 26 mars 2014 - 06:22
It's just a preferance that won't affect anything either way. That said, yeah. I don't think Illium rulers/officials would appreciate the Audron flying threw their skylanes. Or shooting at anything for that matter.

In the RP I participated in on Illium the understanding was that there is a reason Illium is so independent, and that is because the corporations that run the place are more than happy to work together and maintain their independence from Council interference. I think the term was...
The only time the Reapers were able to land on Illium was after the largest corporations in the world expended every form of ordnance, legal, illegal, or otherwise in a never-ending surface-to-space bombardment that shocked not only the Reapers but everyone else. It turns out that money can buy security greater than any of the armies in the world can muster on their own.
Simply, don't mess with the IDF (Illium Defense Force).

But I hated the design and the darkness of the interior of the ME3 SR2. Just move the armory downstairs, and leave the layout and lighting the same as ME2 version.
