I think we can bang this briefing out and get underway. The question I have as a writer is basically does somebody else's character have a plan besides rush in and grab it. For the briefing, I'll run Deidrus and he's going to put forth his plan. It is going to be purposely able to be improved upon, but it is what he would execute if nobody presents him with a better idea.
Also, no responses on the Spectre thing? Is everybody then okay if Shotgun J and/or I introduce a non-Deidrus Spectre to the story?
Vayne would probably have a crazier plan, such as detaching the car with the silas armor from the rest of the train and having us air lifted off the tracks by the Audron, with the train car, and we'd probably die if we don't do it right. 
And I don't mind if we get another spectre, maybe deidrus sacrifices himself to keep the crew out of legal danger, basically taking the fall for the fallout of the robbery and allowing us to keep serving on this mission without arrests, assassinations, etc.
Have em go into prison or whatever alive and with some dignity.
NO PRISON! I mean mah gohd he's a Spectre too! It would be so sad, maybe a little funny.....
I've made part of the case to Julia that it isn't like that other Spectre is 100% in the right. If another Spectre is in need, either of them could have tried to contact the Council, and nah neither decided to...so possible obstruction if we want to be pretend lawyers about it. But basically yes, there has to be reason that Deidrus isn't with the players anymore and bad train robbery mojo is good reason. Still, that's for after high speed train robberies over giant chasms where asari commandos guard great treasure...somebody call Spielberg and Lucas!
The Vayne idea totally needs to be floated during the meeting.
Edit: Deidrus, besides, as an original PC I figure he needs to have a chance to come back even if we think he met his demise

Half-baked ideas give way to more half-baked ideas. I've got a full and very long plot outlined from start to the end ready to go. It's been sitting idle since January.
Then I wish you the best of luck with it. And as long as the half-baked potato tastes good or at least sates the hunger for a while it has done its job.

I've been better but am better comparatively thanks to recent calming down on the home front. Parents splitting is never fun and when it's 20-odd years of un-dealt-with tension it's messy. So I haven't been around because of all the stuff around that. Actually wound up dropping most everything online.
That, however, has nothing to do with the more important second question.
I would like to come back to RPing because I enjoy it, but as is right now I don't know how well I could contribute. I'm sorry for any and all problems that my sudden departure may have caused.
If I return (and I would like to) I'm going to read through everything that has happened and then jump in. Upon doing so since I have been reticent in my duties as guy overseeing things I'm happy to take a role as just another RPer throwing things at walls to see what sticks story-wise. I saw that D might be removed from the field of the RP soon which is fine by me. He was a plot-wrench for a time and if he has passed his use him moving on is perfectly OK with me. From the posts I have seen of people playing him I'm humbled to say they were done better than I probably could have. I always have Eteon to play.
Again the asterisk on that stuff is IF I come back. Which again I would like to, but do not want to make any promises right now.

Yeah... I made Deidrus and Eteon and helped start off CS based on an Idea that Wiggles had. I also accidentally became one of the founding members when I poked this thing when it was dead a few months ago.

At present we're on the planet Duellos, otherwise known as cowboy world.
A quick overview of event's is that.....
We've investigated a link to the Collector's on the planet and have intel on where and how they are collecting.....
Elara has a Statis beetle and has been experimenting on crew member's to see if she can get an idea on how it works and prevent it from happening. Kinda tramuatising Morgan in the process...... 
Shoot out with local Sheriff Hanar.
The link to the collectors turned out to be a cult that was indoctrinating humans to turn into a new breed of collectors. There just starting out. And there are more sites in the galaxy creating them.
There's the dropping of a potential futre plot involving a scret fleet that Cowboy world was being mined to produce.
And right now..... We're doing a futuristic tran robbery where we can potenially do the whole Mecha-Steed riding by shooting as we do it thing.
More's happened... Deidrus has been very mission focused and made some choices that preserved the mission at the cost of some towns folk lives and basically reminded the motley crew that this is still a military operation when they were trying to go all humanitarian. The Audron howeer did manage to take alot of extra's and Deidrus has been as frustrated with the group as they are with his unbending ways.
That said, Deidrus has kept the group on track where they might have otherwise wandered and rather than simple plot outlining.... we've developed this great moral conundrum for player's to tackle. What's right in this situation?
Should be fun to see how it plays out
Guy's? FYI. Now we've established these Aspirant's as uber hard to kill I think it's time for the escalation of conflict to ensue and have our guys adapt to them.
Basically, the Aspirant's have incredibly thicker and more durable bodies to withstand impact. As such, it'll take a really big gun that channel's it's force with armour piercing to penetrate one.
Mentioning this as now we have character's talking and discussing, I think 'what to do if the Aspirant's show up' would get voiced.
The Aspirant's were made to be a next generation model Collector that is supierior to them. However, without surprise and with the right preperation, though it won't be easy with their numbers, we can totally start taking some down before number's Zerg us.
Of course... their going to adapt to.... Wait till they start getting guns and ships....! But that's for much later

@FavoriteHooker and Jen: The Citadel is going to be the rendezvous point for FH's character. I may have missed it but if I didn't, perhaps Essul can find his way to the Citadel and we can match up there.
@TheBriefingRoomtm : All players involved have had a chance to respond, though not all characters have. Morgan I will throw in, Jess is in, and though Dahlia and Irina have not said anything, I presume Dahlia is sticking around at least because of Morgan and Irina is cray cray plus now that Vayne is in, she probably bets she can do more to help. Oh and Zenon is safe so no concerns there.
I'm going to write the Deidrus part in approx. an hour and the door will be closed for leaving. With the time on Duellos, the Audron will start moving to position as plans are discussed. Plans can be changed along the way. I'll probably do some asari parts for fun but that's characters stuff. Here we go...oh and if someone needs a change in what I write, as always I can edit.
This feels so good. getting the warm and fuzzies seeing everything comic together.
I hadn't planned on Essul going to the citadel, instead he'd have meetings them at the next collector target world. I think however I could make a good reason for him to go, thst being to get appropriate clearance in order to access his hegemony data, as well as council data on fleet deployment. So that means go I and getting the ambassador level clearance codes from the old batarian embassy.
Okay, Morgan supports Vayne's plan, but there are a couple of questions. I'll withhold briefing room posts now until people have a chance to respond.
