I heavily revised Eteon's interaction with Septimus. No longer is it a knock-out weapon but a stun weapon of a sort. Also a little ship tension and a spotlight on the oft-used but under-characterized Septimus.
I live on about the same schedule as you Kel so I'll be at it around the same time as you. The timing of it all might need to be rejiggered when we get into it and there will be some retroactive posting to make sure it all fits. Eh, that's just the name of the game though.
And as you can guess someone is going to start to cave tomorrow morning around the time the robbery starts. Having both a pardon revoked and treason charges are a bit tough.

Also, I took a look at the Audron dimensions and had forgotten just how ****** big it is.
It's 170 meters long and 130 meters wide making it longer than a football field and thrice as wide. I don't think there should be any concerns about lifting the train.

I think the audron should wiat back till the engines are knocked out. So that the asari can look up and see that massive ship coming down on them and be like.

I remember setting the dimensions back at the very beginning... The length that I looked up for the SR2 was 170m so I thought 'eh, that's twice the length of this thing. I'll just double the dimension. What I had forgotten was that the ship was (ratio-wise) a hell of a lot wider as well.

170 meters isn't that long. It's a par 3 hole. That's a 4 iron shot. I can drive a golf ball 220 meters.

Well, the plan was to hit the train all at once and I think that's kind of on. So the Audron is there to, yes, attract a lot of attention or all the focus (and asari resistance) would be focused on the shuttle. At least that was the plan.
As far as the size of the Audron goes? Even if it was smaller, it is a space frigate. But yes, at its size, its an attention getter.
I was confused Jensaarai a bit....did Vayne board the train? If he did I presume with Irina? I also didn't imagine anyone being with the player charactes on Red Team but the pilot.
No, it's not gigantic, but it is a lot larger than I had been thinking. It's larger than a football field and 40m tall. I had just lost track of the size.

I'll try to clarify, I'm sorry for the confusion my post might have caused.
Red team is in vayne's shuttle, the one that speed off from the audron. It's currently en route towards the front of the train, not there yet however. Because I saw everyone elses posts were all about them doing last minute prepps before they start their assult and figured I'd do the same.
The plan is to stick the arc grenades on the shide of the engines, so that they short circut and are forced to reboot. Then the shuttle will act as a mobile attack platform of sorts. Basically its door will remain open, everyone will mag lock to the floor so as not to get thrown out of the high speed moving vehicle by the wind, and we'll fire at the asari from the side to try and keep them pinned from attacking you guys attaching the cables or holding the car.
Because the way I see it, that'll be a better use of forces then simply having us jump on the train after. Though it might come to that if things get really hairy.
Also, the additional men was just a wild guess that we might have like 2 or 3 turians to help give us cover. If that aint cool I can alter that to just him, irina, and the pilot.
Everything sounds good though yes, I am trying to limit the number of Armigers running around. Mostly if there were supposed to be a lot of Armigers involved, I imagine Deidrus would have used them instead of you. But I don't mind if you have an extra one along for the ride. You know, maybe one pilot, one Armiger, a krogan and a madwoman. I wouldn't imagine the most of you that could fire out the side of a standard shuttle being two. Physically, sure, you could do more, but that would probably mean some added vulnerability to return fire.
But this isn't my story, its everybody's. I'm just giving you what I thought.
Keep those Armigers on the shuttle! It'll be great! Fun times on the Citadel! Damn this is good s***. You don't know the political sh**storm this is going to stir.
You realise at this point Anika is seriously angry at Naleena. She just blew the whistle on her Captain. Seeing as she didn't know what Naleena had planned she's going with the plan Jess talked her into which involves doing nothing but going along with what's happening while the mean's of alerting Jess go into effect.

Well, the good news is that what Anika has done can't boomerang back on them so they can be taken clear.
Jess meanwhile recieves the pattented. 'oh Sh!t' signal that let's her know their time scale's been shortened and that it no longer matters if they keep the job quiet or not. Reinforcement's no longer need calling for so the lag between then and there is gone.

I'm gonna be fo' real here and say that I think mighty pin is going a bit far?

If it ends up mattering, the magnetic anchors to be placed should be at the four corners of the roof of the train car to be lifted. Easy stuff, as long as the roof is structurally sound enough to hold the weight of the train. Which, for fluff purposes, it is. And Frank Eli will confirm just that upon landing. Then the Audron will be able to mag lift the train with corresponding points on the belly of its hull. It isn't like the points exactly match, but it doesn't matter as the train car roof will be flush with the belly of the Audron.
Means don't be on the Roof when the Audron lifts but that should be obvious.
The rail itself is long, durable and reinforced. But it isn't huge, maybe it is a meter wide and lets say just as thick top to bottom. You could walk down it comfortably, if there was no wind, single file. And if you didn't have a fear of heights when it passed over a chasm.
